Fitzpatrick has made Steelers D Great Again

Now to my original point, to your point. It’s not a lot of yards per game. Has this been a top 5 Def no. But considering we have no offense and those numbers also include games without MF, I’d say their damn good.
 
They are middle of the pack in yards allowed that is not good that is 95 yards more per game than the league leaders and 104 yards better than the worst, they are the eptitomey of mediocre despite all your bullshit and stupidity

I almost started a new thread on this, but I'm here to eat my crow on bitching about the Fitzpatrick trade, I bitched big time when we gave a first rd pick for him, I was wrong, he might be an even better addition than Watt, it's close.
That dude has an amazing nose for the ball.

kudos to FO and anyone else (Tomlin?) who made that call.

I knew Fitzpatrick was good....real good. He still was not a top 10 pick. We have a few 'Bama fans on the board....how did he play with the Tide? Was he elite or just very good? Did Saban say anything about his playing at the next level in the NFL? Based on his play, this guy should have been a top 5 pick. Was not a big fan on the trade since I thought Ben being out this was a "throw away" season but now I'm thinking I could care less losing the pick and consider him getting that first a year early.

Saban loved him so much he probably would have let Minkah make a baby with his wife. lol. Seriously though, I saw an interview with Saban about Minkah and it was the most praise I've ever heard him give about a player. Said he was the smartest player he has ever coached,

Minkah went #11 last year. You know there's always a surprise pick that happens so he didn't make it in the top 10. The kid is a BLUE CHIP player...he was elite at Bama and will be very good here. He can only get better!!!
 
I was hoping for that trade before it happened and was ecstatic when it happened. The defense that played today is one of the NFL’s best and we didn’t even have one of its stars in Tuitt. Statistically the first three games screwed the D, but in the past 4 games they’ve played as well as anyone.

I don't know how anyone could argue against the trade. He filled a hole and i can't imagine any pick playing anywhere close to his level.
