Someone has too much time on his hands. That draft must have taken hours.

It looks like the site made its first round of changes to its weighting for the players. Next round should be after the combine.

1. Again...link. You don’t have one that says they would have picked up a third.

There may very well have been a trade offered. What is irrelevant are the comments that Burns would have been available or, depending on what others do if we trade out of that spot, if Howard would have been available. I don't recall where Howard went, though.

just getting to see how they rate players, moved up to get a playmaker at S that cost my 3rd and other 5th, BJ hill could replace Mcullers and add in a vet FA similar to Aluala our DL vs the run should be fine, we need a vet to add pressure to LD \walton.
Round 1 Pick 28: Rashaan Evans, OLB, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 16 (LAC): Armani Watts, FS, Texas AM (B)
Round 5 Pick 28: B.J. Hill, DT, North Carolina State (A)
Round 7 Pick 28: Ray-Ray McCloud, WR, Clemson (A+)

With Evans you kick him inside and in nickel and dime you can mix up with watt and vince inside and chickello at SLB, and try dupree and Vince on a double loop

first time I traded down, they offer great value in this draft. If the Steelers could get that value in 1, I'd trade down often.

Round 2 Pick 28: Vander Esch, Leighton, OLB, Boise State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 1 (CLE): Allen, Marcus, FS, Penn State (A)

28: R1P28 LB TREMAINE EDMUNDS VIRGINIA TECH
Youngest player in the draft. Arrow pointing up on this kid who flies to the ball.

60: R2P28 TE DALLAS GOEDERT
SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
The way the draft fell he’s the best by far on the board. Reminds me of Heath as he’s a complete TE with glue hands.

92: R3P28 S JUSTIN REID
STANFORD
Still get my safety in round 3 and in my opinion the most NFL ready safety in the draft.

148: R5P11 LB JACK CICHY
WISCONSIN
Double up at ILB but Williams isn’t getting younger and Cichy without the health concern would’ve had a shot at our first round pick.

165: R5P28 WR DEONTAY BURNETT USC
I feel Eli is out the upcoming season, Bryant has a decent shot of being traded, which leaves the slot position wide open. Burnet is a fluid athlete, superb route runner, and above average natural hand catcher.

220: R7P2 CB TARON JOHNSON
WEBER STATE
Johnson might not be a need as we seem deep at young CB’s but from what I’ve seen from this kid is all good. Might be a little too aggressive but rather have that than too timid.

246: R7P28 RB PHILLIP LINDSAY
COLORADO
I’m assuming Bell plays out his franchise tag this last year and is gone. This would leave Connor as our feature back but Lindsay would be a nice change of pace 3rd down back.

I did Fanspeak as I like they don’t allow all the crazy *** trades.

Traded with Indy for their second and third.

RD2a- Ronald Jones II RB USC
I’m about done with LB’s BS. I’d trade him or tag him for one final year. Jones has good size, decent hands, good vision, willing blocker, but his speed is where he is going to separate from the RB crowd. Big play potential every time he touches the football.

RD2b- Jerome Baker LB OSU
replace the former buckeye Shazier with the former buckeye baker. Bake is a solid 4.5 or better 40 guy. Good coverage abilities, speed to go sideline to sideline.

RD3a- Justin Reid S Stanford
Reid is maybe the most NFL ready safety in this draft.

RD3b- Lorenzo Carter OLB Georgia
Carter is not a polished player but physically has everything you desire. Gives us insurance with Dupree and Chick not long term guarantees at this point.

RD5a- Christopher Herndon TE Miami
Herndon is a fluid athlete whom is still growing into his body. Has elite TE potential.

RD5b- Folorunso Fatukasi DT Connecticut
Imposing DT with lots of production.

RD7- Quadree Henderson WR/RB/PR
Henderson immediately gets AB off the field for return duty and can carve out a niche in multiple receiver sets or perhaps in the backfield.

nice draft even though we know Harrison ANDDDD Evans would be a shock availability.

I think Burnett goes round 3/4. And for some reason I keep thinking Harrison ends up being our 1 pick. I think Evans gets picked before 28. We'll see, but solid draft if it did happen..........

Yes i was shocked Harrison was still there.. drafting leonard too infuses that unit with speed and allows Williams to hit the bench on passing downs.

Vander scares me as a prospect. Year after year you have these small school prospects, and most turn out either a bust, below average or just ok. Very very few star. Oh they do but few. I think the risk level is higher. Steelers do a damn good job usually staying with the bigger schools early and for good reason. And I know there is a level of risk across the board. But when you look back at who made it, you can see the bigger schools with a higher percentage of success.Obviously they have more prospects too. I just don't know that I want Vander in 1 or 2. I will have to dig deeper look closer. But how I feel at the moment.

Are you convinced by what you have seen?

I will admit im scared of the only one year of production. But him and Edmunds size are so intruiging
