Seems back to the Tebow game, the Bell/AB days, Jags playoff loss looking ahead to NE, the poor record when heavily favored, now today.. I don’t know how else to interpret this but that this team just gets cocky. They look at their record, they look at their opponents records, and think they have it in the bag. If they haven’t learned by now, they never will. There’s a VERY thin line between winning and losing in the NFL. 11-0 could just as easily be 6-5 with a few breaks the other way. And when you are not laser focused and highly respectful of your opponent, sometimes that’s all you need to cross that thin line. I think Tomlin has done a great job this year, but I also think his inability to check the collective ego of the team is his hallmark for going on a decade now and the primary reason they haven’t played in a super bowl since 2010 and it will cost them this year too
