Today Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a story on Instagram that caught the eye of many fans.

It isn’t unusual for players to leave town following their exit interviews. Smith-Schuster doesn’t own a home in Pittsburgh, and does his training in California. I’d be willing to bet that we will see Smith-Schuster at the Super Bowl in some type of media role.

If you’re on the glass half empty side you could take this to mean that he’s completely gone from town forever. I just don’t believe that’s the case. If he posted a photo of a U-Haul I’d take that point of view.

Smith-Schuster has expressed interest in coming back on a long term deal with the Steelers. He’s also expressed interest in joining the Kansas City Chiefs.

Time will tell where Smith-Schuster ends up, but I wouldn’t read too much into this IG post.

Like a steam locomotive rolling down the track
He's gone, gone, and nothing's gonna bring him back

At first I thought you'd be singing the opening song to "Petticoat Junction"

I just hope they don't over pay #1 wr money to him, somewhere in between high & medium #2 money.

He is the TOUGH in the offense wr room.

Wouldn’t mid seeing a post like that on Drops Johnson’s page.

Some folks may be a little upset, but I think when all is said and done the most appropriate song will be:

He can go, he can stay, Meh. I really don't care for him and his selfish attitude.

DJ has potential to be a very good receiver. He's getting there. Little setback briefly.
He has improved we can't deny that. Those hickups hopefully are even less frequent. Moreso the drops over his backup habit...

EXACTLY, before his little distraction at the end of the season, he only had 2 drops. then the bug got him with 5 I believe. Thats seven on the year (including POs) which is a huge upgrade from (i think) 17 last season.

Deonte Johnson will work HARD durring the off season and that drop number will shrink even more.

I don't disagree that we need speed but that should come with whoever they add.

Steelers had a 1-3 record with Juju on the field this year. In those games, he had 15 catches for 129 and 0 TD's. Somehow, I think the Steelers will survive without him.
True, but he was also drawing double teams on almost every passing down, should have given bigger opportunities for DJ, Chase, and Muth. Sadly, Matt Canada couldn't game plan or play call his way out of a wet paper bag.

I like Juju. He's a leader.

We need a playmaker to pair w/ DJ.

The ONLY player I'm willing to see us trade up for in the first round (if he's there) is Jameson Williams. Yes, he got hurt late in the season and that could allow him to drop to us.

You wanna see what to see what a Julio Jones/Randy Moss morph looks like??? Jameson Williams is it.

No receivers, no QBs.

Just focus on the trenches this season and let them and the team take a few lumps while they wait for a franchise QB opportunity. The lines will get experience. Kendrick Green will be 1 year closer to the end of his rookie contract and hope that Mason or Haskins shows enough to worth some trade value if you have to go that route to GET that franchise QB.

Applying bandaids to the hemorrhaging wound that IS the Steelers will do nothing but shore up another contract extension for halfway Mike.

I can get behind this.

Y'all suck
