Do we have Pat penis envy?(or does POP just like the taste of Brady's balls)

I just see so many Steeler fans overreacting to anything Patriot. Other non-Steeler fan friends of mine have pointed it out, and I can't disagree with them completely.

What is the Steeler fan obsession of anything Patriot? Whether it's Belichick, Brady, Kraft...it just seems Steeler fans just are insane with overreaction and jealousy.

Me? Unless we are playing them, I have nothing against the Pats, as, I am a fan of sustained excellence and they are the best example of such in the sports world.

I even like and appreciate Brady and Belichick. They are driven, smart, put the work in and passionate. What's their to hate about that?

It's OK to admit another team's excellence. It's the adult thing to do.

Sometimes I wish Ben cared as much as Brady does about winning.
 
For me its the fact that they were demonstrably cheating in championship games they were playing against us. Then there is the fact that if somebody looks at Mr Bundchen funny they get fined and they can leave Ben with a broken and bleeding nose and get nothing.
 
Dude, I don't know what kind of "fan" you are, but any legit fan has to despise a team that represents what those cheating ******** do. You want to respect their accomplishments? Go ahead, I'll wait for them to win a damn thing without any cheating. Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.

Some truth your last point. But part of that could be that Ben is such a tough son of a *****, making refs less quick to throw a flag, because he often looks like the same hit that would make Brady freak out, Ben may not even react to it. However, another part of flags being thrown quicker on Brady hits is because he is one of THE marque players in the sport - without question, and they really are going to protect their golden goose. Is that right or fair? Maybe not, but it is reality. Brady is 007, male model looks, married to the hottest *** on the planet, and Ben is like your frat brother at a keg party. With Manning possibly regressing, Brady is the single biggest face/name in the entire sport. He is going to be protected like it.
 
Sure, there's a rivalry. They beat us to win SB's. But, they cheated to win the 3 they have. And, they now have cheated (no matter how minor some people want to try and make this be) to get to another SB. They are cheaters. Period. I would root against them no matter what. Add in the rivalry factor and it makes it that much more. I hope they lose and lose bad. They don't deserve to win. They CHEATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I don't admire cheating ********. So excuse me for not having any respect for them. On top of that they act like condescending **** sticks. What i laugh at is the suckers who buy into their greatness.They're not.

This is an example of what I am taking about. The entire "they can't win without cheating" is so over-the-top and without merritt. They win double digit games every single year and are always a contender. No other team can pull that off. But you think it can ALL be explained with cheating. Just listen to yourself. You come off as a zealot who doesn't apply actual thought to what you are saying; all hyperbole.

Hmmm,and the 1970's Steelers who won four Super Bowls by heavily using steroids? Do you want to talk about that, or does that form of cheating not interest you?

Steroids were not ILLEGAL in the 70's why do people always use this as an example.. The *pat have been caught 3 times cheating. OMG

So, if a team finds a powerful PED that is not yet illegal (although everyone knows it will and should be) and they use it, it's not cheating? Curious argument. The only reason steroids weren't illegal is because it took a while, like it always does, when new PEDs are discovered.
 
I am not envious of proven cheaters. I grew up on the hard working defensive minded Steeler teams of the 70's. And just to educate you, steroids were not illegal in the 70's. They are arrogant pricks by their actions on the field, always have been and always will be. I'm not sure when it happened, but when did it become OK to become classless winners. It's just not the CHEATS, it is across all sports but they seem to be the poster child for it. When you win you celebrate with your team, you don't show up the other team. I can't wait for the day when we see the rest of the iceberg with this organization. We have just seen the tip of what they have done to tarnish the integrity of the league. SO THE ANSWER IS NO

Maybe 3-4 guys on that team used and ******* steroids were legal back then so you can stick that one. Try again. We know you love the Pats*** .We don't and we have no reason to like or even respect them.

Hines Ward said the Pats were calling out our offensive plays when we exited the huddle (when these two teams met to go to the Super Bowl). How can you possibly explain that? Do they study so much film that they know by the way we exit the huddle which play we were going to run?
