Let's just hope the suspension sticks...they even though Kraft said they wouldn't appeal...ya never know.
 
I'm actually surprised at the punishment(s). But I guess we will see if it changes after the appeal process cause you know they will appeal.
 
Let's hope they start the season 0-4.it should be a more severe punishment but at least its something. 4 SuperBowls all tainted....what a dynasty...LOL.

I would have liked to see a much harsher penalty on both Br*dy and the coach.

Given the serial nature of cheating this team demonstrates, I'd like to see them tell Br*dy he's ineligible for the HOF. Personally I'd like them to have a hidden camera on him when they inform him. Just so we can see the hissy fit and the tears. The delicious tears.
 
They got more than I ever thought they would. Belichick getting nothing is ridiculous after all the past punishments handed out like N.O. Their entire run is a farce. Eff those cheating douche bags and their "fans".

I'm surprised they gave T*m anything, but I'm expecting them to let him appeal it down to two games. Meh. The P*ts still essentially get away with it because they don't give a **** about the money or the draft picks. They got what they wanted, the SB trophy. Public opinion will hammer them more than Goodell ever will, but they still essentially got away with cheating. And they'll work hard to find another way to skirt the rules.

No, Sask - T*m DID NOT COMPLY with the investigators. There is probably more information that is damning on his phone - ie. pointing to the coaching staff and FO; again, we'll never know...

This is probably the most we could have hoped, given there being no concrete evidence of Brady's direct involvement.

I was thinking best case would be two games and a couple mid round picks.

I never dreamed the Patriots would lose next year's first from this.

the text messages and his refusing to cooperate was enough circumstantial evidence to show guilt

and fool yourself if you want but this was nothing but a slap on the hands for the pats

why?

bill is forever the scheming cheat, he finds ways to bend and break the rules his non suspension will show him he can continue
draft picks? they never were a power house drafting team they will simply bring in two or three more free agents next year
Brady will appeal and two games will not ruin their season, with how Bill cuts corners we have seen what he does with scrub backups with brady out

At least the grunts got suspended indefinitely. I would be devising my next scheme. It will likely take several years to get caught and by that time we may have a few more trophies. For four games and a couple of draft picks, totally worth it.
