Kinda surprised we didn’t take Brenden Rice. Thought he’d be gone by now. I guess he’s overrated because of his name maybe…

Watts fits the new template for Steelers CB's - tall, very long arms.

6'3", 208 lbs., 34 1/2" arms. Ran a 4.53 and not a great cover CB. Lots believe he could be a solid safety. I dunno - guy that big can jam the **** out of a receiver.

I know nothing about him and quickly learned safety seems like his best fit in the NFL. 6'3" with long arms.

Watts is a physical freak 6'3 with 34 inch arms, run stuffer, not that quick, may have to play safety.

Watts seems like a project. I would have preferred King from PSU who would have likely contributed as a rookie.

Something always has to fall through the cracks each draft. This year it's DBs. Steelers putting a lot of weight on new guys Deshaun Elliott and Donte Jackson.

Steelers have JPJ, Donte Jackson, Corey Trice rehabbed (fingers crossed), and Darius Rush. The starters are solid, the depth is the issue.

That;s why I liked King. He's a known quantity with lots of starts under his belt. It would have felt good to have a guy like that among all the projects.

They're drafting him as a safety imo. He has great measurables, size and played corner. He can transition to safety and if he played there at Texas, would have gone day two minimum.

I would trade a 2025 6th for an early 7th in 2024 to snag Brenden Rice, Eric Watts, Curtis Jacobs or Gabe Hall. Wondering if there’s medical reasons they are still on the board.
