I wouldn't necessarily call it a reach when reflecting on how this draft is going. This is considered a generally weak draft class, so the range any player may be picked is huge this year, and I don't think the consensus board projections are as accurate as usual. Teams are simply who they like/want today, regardless of what any so-called draft gurus think.
This was a position (return specialist) that the team desperately needed, and with only one other pick in the next 100+, I think they just decided to take the best returner in the draft now so they didn't miss him. He'll also add a little threat of the jet-sweep/trick play into the O. I like the player, like the pick.
