Those are the final year numbers. They started the year HORRIBLE against the run, they gave up 224 yards to the Lions, 118 to the Chiefs (who had no running game this year), 167 to the Texans, it was a real problem for them. So much so, they took Hamilton and moved him into that hybrid LB role where he spent the rest of the year. They finished right around us in every other category.
Total Defense - Pitt 17, Balt 18
Passing - Pitt 29, Balt 30
Rush - Pitt 13, Balt 10
Baltimore did finish with only 30 sacks, putting them at 27th (we were 6th with 48), but they did finish 4th in the league in QB hits. So again, their pass rush wasn't the issue, guys were just wide open due to the secondary and QB's were able to get rid of the ball before the rush got there. Getting Crosby doesn't push them over the top in pass rush, until they fix their secondary it doesn't matter if they had Garrett, Crosby, and Watt...
