Crisis in Venezuela update

The media in this country is going out of their way to bolster the exposure of these small, but very organized protests all around the country.
Had Biden made this move when he put a bounty on Maduro's head, they would be cheering the decision.
Who knows if life in Venezuela will get better or worse, but to do nothing would guarantee the latter.

Interesting take. It absolutely could be as he says. You and I might never.
Maybe, time will tell. If Maduro and his family disappear the premise will hold true.
If they face trial and end up in a federal prison, things will look differently.

Not so sure. The conversation might have been "I can kill you, or you all can go to prison for a while."

We might never know.

Something I saw online, is it true or just another bot? It does seem to fall in line with what Litos has stated, so I'll assume this is true.
No question though, the protestors in this country are lunatics.

I’m going to say this once, and I don’t care if it makes people uncomfortable.
If you have never lived in Venezuela
If you did not grow up there
If you did not watch your country collapse in real time
If you did not stand in food lines
If you did not watch your parents lose everything they built
If you did not have to leave your home with nothing
Then shut the **** up.
You do not have an opinion.
Your opinion does not matter.
And you don’t get to lecture anyone about what’s happening there.
I’m Venezuelan.
I lived there most of my life until my early twenties.
I watched my country go from a functioning democracy to full blown socialism right in front of my eyes.
This is not politics to me.
This is trauma.
Before socialism, Venezuela was not perfect, but it worked.
There was trade.
There was money coming in.
There was investment from the US.
There were jobs.
There was food.
There was medicine.
My family had five businesses.
We had our home
We had investments.
We had a future.
Then the government started nationalizing everything.
Private companies were taken.
Foreign investors were pushed out.
Imports were blocked.
Price controls destroyed production.
Corruption exploded.
And everything died.
Not slowly.
Violently.
People didn’t suddenly become poor because of “capitalism” or “the US” or whatever bullshit slogan people like to repeat online.
They became poor because socialism destroyed incentives, destroyed production, destroyed trust, and destroyed hope.
People today in Venezuela are not debating ideology.
They are trying to survive.
They are trying to find food.
Trying to find medication.
Trying to keep their families alive.
So when I see people in the West posting from comfortable homes, full fridges, stable currencies, and safe streets talking about “imperialism” or “US bad” or “Trump this or that”
No.
It’s not complicated.
You’re just ignorant.
China is not rebuilding Venezuela.
Russia is not rebuilding Venezuela.
Cartels are not rebuilding Venezuela.
They are stealing.
They are extracting.
They are draining what’s left.
If the US comes in and reinvests
If refineries get rebuilt
If infrastructure gets restored
If imports open back up
If food, water, and medicine become accessible again
If people can work and earn with dignity
Then yes.
Let them take all the oil they want.
Because at least something gets built instead of destroyed.
This is something to celebrate.
Not because it’s perfect.
But because for the first time in a long time, there is hope.
Hope that families can eat.
Hope that people don’t have to flee their country.
Hope that Venezuela can function again.
If you’ve never lived through a country collapsing
If you’ve never watched socialism destroy everything around you
If you’ve never had to leave your home because staying meant starvation
Then again
Shut the **** up.
This isn’t theory.
This isn’t politics.
This is lived experience.

Sad part is, Maduro is probably going to walk. The judge assigned is a Trump hating liberal, and the trial will be in New York so I have no faith that there will be a conviction of any kind.

I don’t know why he’s even on trial here. Trump should just throw his asz in Guantanamo.

Litos, how are things on the ground in Venezuela?

Has there been any significant moves in the political or military structure, other than the VP now in control?

Massive Coverup Underway in Washington State to Stop Reporting of Somali Daycare Fraud

The far, far left in power in Washington has begun a full-court press operation to hide information about Somali daycare or adult centers in Washington state. The state, the city of Seattle, and legislators in Olympia are more concerned about Somali fraud making the news than they are about the rip-off of American taxpayers.

Washington state officials have begun a sweeping and alarming effort to stop any reporting about potential fraud by Somali daycare center owners — or any owners — by scrubbing public information about these state-licensed daycare facilities from state records. Worse, a proposed bill in the new legislative session would prevent "investigative journalists or media from checking into daycare fraud in Washington state" under a "daycare secrecy bill," as one governmentwatchdog put it.

The newly elected communist mayor of Seattle has dismissed as "extremists" any reporters who ask about any potential fraud and what she plans to do about it. Katie Wilson said in a post, "I stand with the Somali childcare providers who have experienced targeted harassment and condemn the surveillance campaign promoted by extremist influencers."

Indeed, Katie Wilson urged Somalis to report overtures from reporters as "hate crimes."

As she operates out of the biggest city in the state, in Olympia, Governor Bob Ferguson’s apparatchiks have already begun to scrub the identifying information about in-home daycare owners making money from the government, according to reporters covering this story.

Journalists have discovered that the state began scrubbing public information about these daycare centers from Washington state government documents in real time—by fiat.

You don't suppose that those in charge in Washington state are getting kickbacks do you?
Unpossible, as all politicians and non-elected bureaucrats selflessly only serve the public, clean as the driven snow.

Seive it. Wash it. Give it a chemical bath. Pressure wash it. And yea, after all the fecal matter is washed away....kickbacks.

This is how all of the dems and too many of the gop work. Trump is systematically eliminating the cash flow for the dems - PP, public broadcasting, higher ed, foreign aide, etc. He's just going down the ledger and cleaning house. Wait until CA gets audited.

I love the fact that it was successful and needed to be done for various reasons, but it would be awesome if the legality of it wasn’t questionable.
I don’t give a rats azz what democrat politicians think, but there still lingers opinions from law scholars that Trumps actions were illegal.

Not only that, the judge is 92 years old, and this trial is unlikely to be wrapped up in a few months.

Trump is talking about taking Greenland again. I do not agree with this at all. We should just let those people alone

𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧, 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐈𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬

What we’re watching right now isn’t isolated.
It’s 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.

When Tim Walz stepped aside, it wasn’t because Democrats suddenly discovered integrity.
It wasn’t because they were outraged by fraud.
And it wasn’t because they disagreed internally.

It was because 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞𝐝.

Democratic leadership does not fracture under pressure.
They have been trained not to criticize one another publicly.
Unity, even in the face of fraud, criminality, or incompetence, is viewed as essential to winning.

So Walz wasn’t abandoned for what he did or didn’t do.
He was sidelined because 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧.

That distinction matters.

𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 Walz redirected blame toward Trump to avoid accountability for Minnesota’s funding freeze, while ignoring the fraud audits that caused it, 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 sidelining Maduro’s atrocities to target Trump’s decisiveness instead.

And here’s where the intrigue begins.

Watch how the same playbook now activates in every direction.

Take what’s happening internationally.

Today, Senator Fetterman admitted something remarkable in an interview (as he said on Fox today).
He openly acknowledged that both Democrats and Republicans have long agreed that Maduro is illegitimate, dangerous, and needed to be removed.

That agreement has existed for years.

The difference, until Donald Trump, no one had the leadership ability to actually 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Now watch what happens next.

Despite Maduro,
• Ignoring a free election
• Holding power through force
• Destroying the wealthiest nation in South America
• Driving millions from their homes, with hundreds of thousands flooding into the United States
• And despite overwhelming celebrations from Venezuelans worldwide thanking Trump

Democratic leadership, with the lone exception of Fetterman, immediately condemned the action.

And once again, they pointed not at the dictator,
but at Trump.

Read that again slowly.

They are attempting to convince you that the real villain is not the man who crushed democracy, impoverished a nation, and ruled by force,
but the man who removed him.

That isn’t confusion.
That isn’t disagreement.
That is 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧.

Not a party.
Not a voter.
Not even a single politician.

It’s a coordinated system whose first instinct is always to 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟,
by sacrificing individuals when optics demand it, redirecting blame upward, and keeping the public emotionally disoriented.

Even when they lose, they don’t concede truth.
They 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Different issue.
Same villain assignment.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫:

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.
If the evidence points inward but the accusation points outward,
you’re not watching accountability,
you’re watching 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞.

This is why Walz blames Trump.
This is why fraud investigations are labeled “attacks.”
This is why dictators become footnotes and Trump becomes the headline.

And this is why you should pay very close attention in the months ahead.

Because this same strategy will be deployed everywhere,
𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥.

The months ahead won’t test our anger.
They’ll test our ability to 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 while others try to keep us emotional.

Once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it.
And once you understand how optics are weaponized, outrage loses its grip.

That’s not politics.
That’s 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

I am actually in favor of it, and very much so…
One I truly believe that it is necessary for national security, and two is purely a personal reason.
I recently invested money (nasdaq) in a rare earth mining project that is underway in Greenland that has great potential, especially if the US government becomes involved.
