2nd quarter of the year, pundits and the media began scratching their head and the gubmint began scrambling as breakthrough cases rose.
In October, over 30% of cases in MD were vaccinated people.
In October, 40% of people who died in MD were vaccinated (I assume they occupied hospital beds).
25% of people dying in WA state are vaccinated.
All across the country, those numbers are rising, not getting better.
Boosters are now needed because the vaccines work so poorly.
The vaccinated are taking up an ever increasing number of hospital beds. Dr Fauci himself said - we are seeing a SIGNIFICANT increase in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths among the vaccinated. They are now at risk.
Problem is, you keep reading bullshit headlines like this without seeing the obvious:

There are two mindsets. the first is he short term protection the MRNA vaccine provides against death and the second is the absolute long term risk it comes with.
Medical doctors routinely disagree on medicines along these lines. the blood pressure meds they put me on at the hospital is being changed by my PCP because the hospital didnt give two ***** about the long term side effects for the one, while the PCP was less interested in the short term benefits for the other and more concerned about the side effects.

Researchers from the University of Hong Kong's LKS Faculty of Medicine found that after 24 hours of infection, the omicron variant multiplied in the human bronchus 70 times faster than the delta variant and original coronavirus strain.
They also discovered that omicron infection in the lungs was "significantly lower" than the initial COVID-19 strain, "which may be an indicator of lower disease severity," according to a statement from the university.
The strain replicated in human lung tissue at a rate that was more than 10 times lower than the original COVID-19 strain, which suggests that it may cause less-severe illness.
The research, however, is still under peer review for publication. The researchers examined lung tissue removed for treatment that was infected with the omicron variant.
Michael Chan Chi-wai, the lead researcher on the study, noted that virus replication is not the only factor that determines disease transmissibility.
"It is important to note that the severity of disease in humans is not determined only by virus replication but also by the host immune response to the infection, which may lead to dysregulation of the innate immune system, i.e. 'cytokine storm,'" Chan said in a statement.

No, doctors really aren’t on both sides of the issue. I work for almost 300 docs and meet with several of them every week. They’re very pro-vaccine and are in frustrated disbelief of the anti-vaxers and patients doing their own “research” online.
