Covid Vaccine

That vaccine isn’t allowed here… it’s probably a biotech fail in history and the twelve or so countries banning it seem smart right now…

It's just not really a viable vaccine. I know Europe was eager for it's own vaccine, but it probably is better off buying American.

Thanks Chip.
Seems pretty obvious that the Covid is an awful more like the flu than anything else, and seems to have exactly filled that category instead of flu......it would be interesting to find out the similarities and differences, if any, from the the older flu vaccines and the novel, lol, covid vaccines.

You're in the prediction game, not me.

I'm telling what I'm watching now. Vaccines aren't stopping the spread. And the spread is moving to the vaccinated states you've licked the taint of for months now while admonishing those less vaccinated.

You're use to whistling different tunes. Always fun to watch. Like your words from March 2020. In October you'll be whistling a different tune. Make it about waffles. It's what you do.

The best quote I've read today applies here, to COVID, to Afghanistan, to you:

When ideology prevents rationality, what’s left is insanity. It’s on full display in Washington, DC right now.
Oh, grow a pair! You like to talk big but when challenged, you never back it up. You’re not Joe Namath, you’re Walter Mitty and you know it.

The Cases by Region graphs proves you wrong. The Northeast isn’t lagging behind the South, it’s the trajectory that’s the difference.

You guys who are fearing the vaccines more than an extremely contagious virus that can literally suffocate you to death in worst case scenarios can continue to believe whatever you want.

Three points. First, your claim that some here "fear the vaccine" is wrong. TSF said he does not want to take the non-traditional vaccine, in particular the mRNA vaccine, because he is healthy and has less chance of serious harm from the virus than merits taking a vaccine not subject to regular testing and research. He will take the traditional J&J vaccine, so your claim that people "fear vaccines" is demonstrably false. A lot of people question taking a vaccine with potential significant side-effects and where the vaccine has not undergone standard safety testing where the patient basically has a 99.9% chance of recovery. A very legitimate question.

Second, a lot of contributors are pointing out that the CDC and Fauci have repeatedly been caught in lies and the efficacy of the vaccines appears to be the most recent one. "The vaccine will prevent you from getting Covid." No, it won't. Sorry. Just tell the damn truth for once and see how that works out. Also, the powers-that-be knew - they KNEW - of the significant likelihood that an endless number of variants of the Chinese flu would probably overcome the vaccine, and lied to us about that fact.

Finally, the points raised about the mask-obsession, the complete idiocy of keeping kids home from school, of forcing kids to wear masks at school, of forcing kids to take the vaccine despite a 99.99% survival rate, the questions about the efficacy of the vaccine and the credibility of those harping about the vaccine are completely legitimate. In fact, science encourages such debate.

But some gender-studies graduate from Wellesley working for Google or Youtube of Fakebook can now decide when to censor such speech, and nobody affiliated with any major media source, apart from a couple people on Fox and Newsmax, have a syllable of criticism for that fact.

You're a stupid **** if you get into the prediction game. Whooops....that's what you do well.

The Northeast has in fact, without question, undeniably been lagging behind the South during Delta. How ******* dumb are you? This is why 7 day case averages are DROPPING in many of the states hit early in the Delta wave and they are RISING in other states now.

When COVID hit our shores the first time, did it hit every state at once? Nope. Some states lagged months behind. When the 2nd wave hit, did it hit all states at once? Nope, states lagged behind. While states hit early and hard saw cases drop, states not hit saw cases rise. We had waves in wave 1. Not A wave.

You're seeing the same here. Delta hit the mid south and it is migrating north. Each time I've posted the hot spots map here, you can see it growing and growing by rolling north and west. A 3rd grader could see it. You're just being your typical, obtuse self.

Again, look at the trends:

The states hit early with Delta - 14 day change in daily cases:
TX: +24%
AR: -9%
LA: -18%
AL: +11%
FL: +6%

States NOT hit hit early with Delta:
NH: +68%
OH: +68%
PA: +64%
VA: +56%
MN: +55%
NJ: +41%
MD: +30%
DE: +27%
MA: +24%

Cases are growing FASTER in those states. See the bigger numbers??? See the negative numbers or really low numbers for the low mid south where Delta hit hard and early?

The J&J isn’t traditional either…its a genetically manipulated Adrinovirus… the mrna from Pfizer and Moderna are really promising biotech but extremely unknown in regards to long term effects … the track record of first generation vaccines are less than stellar so I in particular plan on avoiding them as long as I can…

the Adrinovirus concept is great for emergencies… they can print a compatible virus to use in a vaccine in a couple days or less… its very quick… there may be rare blood clotting issues as we have seen, and it might not have an antibody response as great as it could be to variants…

the actual traditional approach of utilizing an actual dead virus in the vaccine is probably the best all around option… hopefully one will be put soon

Be specific. Vaccinated states will see cases at 150+% of their winter surge like Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana are seeing now?
southern states where the vacationers flock during the summer, bringing their variants and diseases.

Florida - obviously Mouse City, Miami, Daytona, Pensacola, KEY ******* WEST, Clearwater, etc
Louisiana - New Orleans, Baton Rouge, beaches
Mississippi - Biloxi, Gulf Port, Pascagoula

All three offer deep sea fishing excursions, beaches, family settings.

but keep putting your head in the sand and dismissing this while bringing your own ******* family to KEY ******* WEST, hypcrite

Is the Novavax more traditional or is it just the same as JnJ. I thought it was more traditional

Now Trump is lying about the vaccine…

Trump would love to be the guy who gets credit for pushing MRNA to the forefront of medical treatments… its why he initially gave them an extra billion to ramp up production and testing and billions more in preorders…

ill say this over and over again… you can’t speed up time… they have no clue about long term effects… Trump doesn’t give a **** about what happens ten years down the road… he will likely be dead or senile….
If you are worried about short term effects, go get it… if you aren’t, don’t…
Trump is an egotistical celebrity… his word means about as much as any talking head from Hollywood does to me lol

Traditional… they use the actual covid virus
Actually they use the spike protein from the virus and that triggers your body to generate antibodies. There is no live or dead cell used. You can read all about it at the link below. I'm holding out for the NovaVaxx if I really need to get one.

At 200 x the viral load, there are probably kids flinging Covid boogers everywhere.

Mommy's in the kitchen,
Daddy's in the hall,
Baby's upstairs shooting boogers on the wall

Now Trump is lying about the vaccine…

You realize that nothing in that article has anything to do with what I wrote, or the issue under discussion, or any issue remotely related to the points being debated - right?

If not, return to 1st grade and start over.

LMAO Flogged's trying to figure out the linky link game. He...just sucks at it.

Steeltime: The national deficit is growing and it will harm us long term.

Floggy: Oh yeah?? JFC!! Read this:

Now Trump is lying about the vaccine…

again, i'll ask - why do you hate black people?

A study by the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University found vaccination resistance is highest in counties where a majority of voters supported Trump in the 2020 election. Also among the laggards are African Americans and those 18-24 years old.

“Just wait.. keep watching… get your popcorn… I’m not predicting anything” Pathetic. Again, you know you’re wrong and are trying to spin **** using percentages without any perspective whatsoever.

Pennsylvania saw a 64% increase… on an average of 168 daily cases.

Texas saw a 24% increase… on an average of 15,000.

Yeah, I’m waiting.

And look at the graph. Increases in cases began at the same time everywhere. The Delta variant had been detected in every state 8 weeks ago and you’re arguing 14 day trends? *****, please!

“The vaccine is good. I recommend it” Less intellectually, but essentially the same thing Fauci said… that you are saying is a lie.

Go ahead and find one comment from me - ONE - where I say that the vaccine is bad, or that somebody should not take the vaccine, or that the vaccine is to be avoided.

We did this once before, you idiot, and you responded basically, "Oh, OK, so you're not anti-vax. So why do you cite information about problems with the vaccine?"

You remember that, I hope. It happened probably three weeks ago.

Idiot.
