No he does not...the article is from 2018. before covid. so the article isn't related to Covid so it does not correlate to the Covid vaccine.

That's not how the variants arise, Flog. Variants arise when the virus is exposed to the vaccine and some of the virus survives, and that virus then is transmitted, creating vaccine-resistant strains. That has been true as long as we have had medications to treat viruses and bacteria.




Antibody resistance has been known for decades and is a major concern. What happens is that a patient takes an antibiotic, like penicillin, for the bacterial infection, the penicillin kills the vast majority of the bacteria, but in a small number of patients, a variant survives the penicillin and becomes antibody-resistant. That has forced drug manufacturers to develop new antibiotics to battle the new, penicillin-resistant strain of the bacteria.

Of course viruses are not bacteria, we get that. The fact is that previously, vaccine-resistant viruses involved things like colds and flus so people did not much care. So the new cold virus is resistant to a vaccine and you get a cold? Who cares? *

So Flog when you state that the non-vaccinated are the source for more dangerous versions of the Chinese flu, you have it exactly backwards.

* Before you go nuts about the cold virus and vaccines, be aware that yes, we can develop vaccines for a cold virus. The problem is that there are literally hundreds of variations of the cold virus and developing a vaccine to those viruses would be prohibitively expensive, especially considering how innocuous the cold virus is, and would not protect the patient from any one of the other 75 variations. And guess what is true about the cold virus? You get a particular strain once and only once since once you recover, you have immunity from that strain.

Is that particular fact check trying to say that viral mutations aren’t a serious concern from non perfect vaccines, because they are and always have been… even mr Fauci has said that…

from multiple previous pandemic debates I can say antivaxers always bring it up but its one of the things normally verified against in clinical trials… its a real thing… there are several animal vaccines that actually made certain viruses way worse and thats all documented… its a real known issue and is why certain “leaky” vaccines aren’t widely prescribed unless you are going to an area with an outbreak and they only give any approval for super deadly diseases…
 
Because it sounds like they are ambiguously counterpointing a more ridiculous claim that the mrna vax infects you with a virus in a way that tries to downplay the scenario i just described above… which is disingenuous at best

  • SIL linked to an article explaining in some detail how vaccines create vaccine-resistant mutations in viruses.
  • The article explained further that the vaccine-resistant strains are often more virulent. (Look up the hard words.)
  • The article did NOT state that vaccines creating vaccine-resistant strains was limited only to vaccines from somewhere other than a Chinese lab.
  • In fact, the POINT of the article was that vaccines have a very well-documented history of creating vaccine-resistant strains, a fact known to scientists for decades.
  • SARS-CoV2 is a virus.
  • The Covid vaccine is used to create protection from the virus.
  • However, as the article notes, and as every being with a functioning brain knows, the tremendous benefits of vaccines are accompanied by the unfortunate consequence of creation of vaccine-resistant strains of the virus. It happens.
  • We are seeing strains of Covid that are vaccine-resistant.
  • That is a natural by-product of the vaccines.

It relates to all vaccines genius. The Covid Vaccine is the poster child for leaky. WTF does it matter what year the article f from it is the science that matters. Does the covid vaccine prevent the disease? NO. Does it prevent it from spreading? NO. Therefore people who get Covid and have the vaccine but spread it anyway are by definition spreading a vaccine resistant virus creating the possibility for further mutations of the resistant strain. A non leaky vaccine would not allow much if any spread from those vaccinated keeping the chance of mutations minimal. It is really pure ******* common sense!
