Common trends among winning AFC AND NFC Champions

I have watched Carolina a few times too. They play with tremendous confidence, but they have also won a lot of games by less than 4 points!

Sun, Sep 27 vs Saints W 22 - 27 Final
October 18 at Seattle Seahawks W 27–23
November 2 Indianapolis Colts W 29–26 (OT)
December 6 at New Orleans Saints W 41–38
December 20 at New York Giants W 38–35

Denver can win this game with a Bill Parcells control the TOP, win the special teams battle, and NO Turnovers type of game.

Peyton Manning these days is a game manager, and that's a good thing for Denver.

Just for the sake of accuracy, those first two games you listed there were not wins by less than 4 points.

1 ) They can really rush the passer.

2 ) They have multiple DB's who can make plays on the ball.

For the Steelers to take the next step, they must quickly fix the defense. I think trading Wheaton, and picking a CB, S, and pass rusher in a BPA format is the thing to do.

And in order to make a real push, in 2016, ONE of those positions should be filled with a legit, top shelf free agent. We don't have to go hog wild with FA signings, but signing ONE solid vet at S, OLB or CB would make it easier to fill the rest of the holes in the draft.

We have the personal in the front seven if we scrap the 2 down lineman formations. You have to win the line of scrimmage. But We need a stud in the secondary maybe it's time to trade up and take a jalen Ramsey.
