If Savion slides into the third, we better grab him. I think he sneaks his way into the second. With that size and speed, plus the versatility that he displayed in college, I could see KC, Wash, GB, SD, Buf, or Jax taking him. Buf would be the most logical, with the need for playmakers on the outside (Cooper didn't quite pan out for them), and two 2nd round picks.
Why do we need Savion? We have Roman Wilson in the wings just waiting to bust out and be tremendous. No need to waste a 3rd on Savion.

Close, yeah. Higgins not quite as big, but a hair taller. Same speed. I think Williams is just more versatile. I like a lot more WR in this class than most people do, and think it's deeper than people give it credit for. I think there is potential for some sleepers to surprise people.
Why do we need more WRs to not throw the ball to? We NEVER throw to the middle of the field. So cross all those patterns off the play sheet; Clown-lin will never use them.

Savion Williams is not a slot receiver, I can't believe I have to spell this out for you, Wilson is a slot receiver. Austin is a slot receiver. Right now, the ONLY WR's on the roster are Pickens, Austin, and Wilson.

When you don't have a viable WR2 option, defenses can overload and double GP. Having a guy like Savion, takes pressure off of GP. There are other guys that can fill this spot (Golden, Royals, Higgins, Bryant, Jordan Watkins, Jaylin Noel), I just happen to really like Savion's potential.

as a Tennessee fan, i'd like to see Thornton get some love... but he's a true sleeper. long dude, with long strides. good hands but wasnt the electricity he was proclaimed to be when he went to be a Vol. Still, he's got measurables you can't teach and would be a nice addition as a late round pick. I see him as being similar to Ramel Keyton (also a former Vol) but taller. The Raiders gave Keyton some PT and he shined. However, Keyton doesn't have the hands that Thornton does.

Probably with the same live in your fears approach by Tomlin. Fields still is probably the best option out there. If a QB slides in the draft, they may snag one in the 3rd or 4th round. I hope nothing earlier than that since any QB would be a project.
Clown-lin has proved anyone short of Big Ben is a project, with hour-long, daily meetings or not (Word is Tomlin had hour-long, daily meetings with Pickett, and we saw how that turned out.) You have got to be special to overcome Clown-lins drastic shortcomings. He's not a strategist, not a real coach, he's your best friend and that only goes so far. He leaves a lot lacking, for sure.

Yeah, he didn't get used much, but a 25 ypc average is pretty ridiculous. A late round flyer kind of guy, like Ja'Carey Brooks.

Great, you can cheer him on while he doesn't get any balls thrown to him on a non-3rd down play. Geez, our GM sure crapped the bed on getting us a decent #2 WR. But they kept telling us they had something cooking...it must have been food for your draft party, because a WR never developed out of any plans, even though some did seem like they were emerging, but no. V Jefferson? M Williams? Naaaaa, they didn't deserve any plays their way.
