Emmanwori had seriously freak number. The guy is breaking the Matrix
What I was thinking, exactly, sometimes they do, but rarely.Freak numbers at the combine rarely translate to the NFL...
Maybe the only DB I'd consider at 21.There was an article in the PPG the other day about Barron and I agree that he would make a lot of sense at 1.21.
Fields will get us where we are used to: loss in week 1 of playoffs, if we are lucky. My hope is the Steelers sign Fields (or another realistic QB), a DL, a WR, a CB, and an RB in free agency. They have the money to spend for players who will contribute significantly. Then, they can head into the draft while still looking to fill the severely depleted DL and WR rooms. On paper, that would be a good offseason in my book.
Slight fix to your statement. There has to be something on tape as well.Freak numbers ALONE at the combine rarely translate to the NFL...
It is known khaleesi. Still, he already was ranked as a 1st / 2nd round Safety, he is not coming out of left field with just athletic numbersFreak numbers at the combine rarely translate to the NFL...
Probably with the same live in your fears approach by Tomlin. Fields still is probably the best option out there. If a QB slides in the draft, they may snag one in the 3rd or 4th round. I hope nothing earlier than that since any QB would be a project.Fields will get us where we are used to: loss in week 1 of playoffs, if we are lucky.
Milroe must have been using some kind of torture device to stretch that hand out.

There could always be a Dave Krieg out there.Probably with the same live in your fears approach by Tomlin. Fields still is probably the best option out there. If a QB slides in the draft, they may snag one in the 3rd or 4th round. I hope nothing earlier than that since any QB would be a project.
I remember when Kordell was driving everyone crazy with his 4.5 speed....IMO, we should snag either a DL or DB in the first. I'd then target Jaxson Dart in the second, pending who slides. But, we could wind up with a nice decision of Kelvin Banks or Donovan Jackson at 1.21. Which could amplify our draft. I'd more than happily select either and kick Fautanu inside at LG. IMO, that might be our best scenario. Provide a SOLID ol with exceptional talent to overcome our absolutely horrific OL coaching and we might be onto something.
Obviously a WR with size AND speed would be needed, and I believe Thornton could be had mid-round - while Savion Williams might need to be snagged by R3. He's my sleeper pick for us, but with that 4.48....
If Savion slides into the third, we better grab him. I think he sneaks his way into the second. With that size and speed, plus the versatility that he displayed in college, I could see KC, Wash, GB, SD, Buf, or Jax taking him. Buf would be the most logical, with the need for playmakers on the outside (Cooper didn't quite pan out for them), and two 2nd round picks.IMO, we should snag either a DL or DB in the first. yeah, but Korky was a QB with WR versatility. Williams is a WR.I remember when Kordell was driving everyone crazy with his 4.5 speed....
Higgins from Iowa State might even be the "same guy" since they're almost the same size.If Savion slides into the third, we better grab him. I think he sneaks his way into the second. Close, yeah. Higgins not quite as big, but a hair taller. Same speed. I think Williams is just more versatile. I like a lot more WR in this class than most people do, and think it's deeper than people give it credit for. I think there is potential for some sleepers to surprise people.Higgins from Iowa State might even be the "same guy" since they're almost the same size.
