Colts / Texans

This is bad news for the Pats. This means Colts play KC and the pats will play the winner of ravens Chargers. I think either of them beat the Pats. The pats best path would be to play Houston, then KC. Now they have a tough game vs ravens or charges, then a possible game vs the Colts. I think that's the toughest possible road.

I think it’s bad news too but just for next week,
Need to have KC beat Colts because I don’t think Colts win in Foxborough if they can beat Rats/Bolts

i think colts have a better chance than KC to beat the pats. KC's offense has taken a hit without HUnt and with Watkins injured. They are still good but not as unstoppable. Their defense is still really bad and that's the key. The pats will be able to score on KC but will have trouble vs the colts.

**** the cheaters, I hope NO ONE feels sorry for their cheating *****. See when the cheating dynasty starts to fall, MOST everyone steps back and sings joyfully.

I'd like to see the t*mmy b*y pounded into the turf over and over but not seriously hurt but just enough so he keeps playing................... A humiliation of them would also be kewl, along with the pain,......of course !!!

Just more proof that to make hay in the NFL, you have to have a quarterback that can make accurate throws from the pocket. All the running around is nice for the highlight reel and will win you some games, but in the end it’s the team with the QB that can push the ball down the field with his arm and doesn’t turn the ball over that wins in the playoffs. The Ravens are the next team that are gonna be reminded of this. May not be tomorrow, but it’s gonna happen.

The Colts are about to be 10-1 since their 1-5 start. That's not an accident.

Luck may be the best QB in the playoffs, which is saying something, their line is great, and their defense just shut down a good Texans offense on he road.

Colts looking pretty damn good. Not sure they have the horses on D to go all the way but the offense looks like its well balanced. They'll be easy to pull for.

best QB's for the rest of weekend ...go with...

Seahawks
Chargers
Eagles

They will at the very least cover the spread..

I’ve seen the script before and there’s no way Colts are going outdoors in Foxbourogh and beating them after going to Houston and KC

Colts will beat KC in KC next week! Bank on it!

Chiefs NO DEFENSE will cost them! Bet the over!

Watching the playoffs is depressing knowing how bad the Steelers blew their chances this season.

Yep definitely is a lot more fun to have something to look forward to and build that anticipation on gameday, but at least it doesn't cause additional ulcers. You can sit back and just watch the game.

O'Brien's tenure as offensive coordinator likely has come to an end. That was brutal.

BTW: If the Steelers played that crappy this board would explode.

AFC final will be Indy at LA Compton Chargers or Ratbirds.

I don't mind O'Brien, but it's time for the Texans to move on. They need to make a move to get to the next level.

But I bet their fans can't name anyone to take his place so they can't fire him.

I think O'Brien is doing a great job. The Texans don't have that much talent. Hopkins is a stud but what else do they have on offense? Their OL is not very good. Lamar Miller is an average RB. They don't really have a TE. They traded for Demarius Thomas and he got hurt about a week later.

I don't think O'Brien wanted Watson at QB. He's the exact opposite of what he wants at the position. Despite that, he changed his whole offense to fit Watson.

Part of Houston's success has been that the AFC South has not been that good the last few years but still, Houston has been making the playoffs with a team that isn't that talented. O'Brien is getting the most out of what he has to work with.

The media decided Watson is a great QB because he puts up good fantasy numbers against weak defenses but he gets sacked a ton because he doesn't read the field well.

Kurt Warner talked about it on pregame. He showed some plays where he had a guy open and didn't see him because he was just locked on the first read waiting for him to get open. It's the same problem many of these read option QBs have. Their whole life it's been so easy. Their first read is open or they take of running and that was all it took to be a star in college. It even works in the NFL vs bad and mediocre teams.

As was mentioned in this thread, you need to make plays from the pocket to win playoff games.

Everybody has Sean McVay up as some kind of genius. We've seen with Charlie Weis that being a good head coach is more than being a good playcaller. The Rams defense is going to ****. I won't be surprised if the OL and run game starts eroding next.

These schemer coaches spend all their time trying to come up with clever plays to trick people and forget that you actually have to practice little things like blocking and tackling

Charlie Weis looked great his first few years at Notre Dame when he inherited a team that was very well coached on fundamentals and just needed a better passing scheme. Then a few years later it went to **** as his recruits started and they were terrible at fundamentals.
