Because from playing and coaching i know its been plenty of instances where i failed on a play or my teammates that i know we were was properly prepared for or when coaching i knew we had went over something a million times. Thats my reasoninng for not jumping on coaches. I know others may feel differently
you do know you could go over something a million times and still be wrong right?
as far as "properly" prepared that can ring true here and there, but it doesn't apply to trends. And it doesn't even lend to how many times you were correct with your teams assessments.
See right now you are twisting turning hoping to find something that can support the opinion you boxed in. Locked in on you sold it to yourself as true.
But every time you explain your stance it just gets stranger and stranger.
"because of playing and coaching"
I played too so ******* what
Doesn't give anyone some magical insight into reality.
Didn't for coach and it doesn't for you.
Bottom line the simplistic aspect of it all is.
Over the long term a coach needs to be able to adapt and adjust.
And win.
And not have any embarrassing losing trends.
Tomlin's only saving grace is he managed to not have any losing seasons.
But let that start to happen and you will see how quick "new money" can influence to get him run out of town one way or another.
