From Behind the Steel Curtain...
Jason Worilds may not have lived up to his $9.75 million salary in 2014, but his market value suggests a deal in the $6-$7 million a year range is appropriate.
They stated that the Steelers are willing to give him that, but then reported that he will be allowed to test FA market. Wonder if they think he won't find bigger money elsewhere and will take their lower offer?
Possibly. Jason La Canfora has him at $7.5 million per year and I believe Graham in that range as well. I've also read that Dejan Kovacevic believes that the Steelers will sign him and that Worilds will take a little less to stay because he wants to be here. Then again, they need a guy who can get to the quarterback. We've seen what Worilds can do, do they think they can do better in free agency?
