Cap Casualties

What would be wrong with Steven Jackson? He has lots of miles on him, but could easily -- if he wants -- fill a role here like Bussy did in his last two years. He could get the load for the first two games, then spot Bell and add short yardage power as needed.

I like your idea confluence, he was productive in limited carries last season and the guy has never been problematic

I'd take S Jax in a second. He always seemed like the consummate pro. It's not like you are asking him to carry the ball 20 times a game. He is getting up there in years and mileage but he should stay relatively fresh as a situational back .

Do you want to see grown men cry with jubilation??? If that were to happen - TRUST AND BELIEVE - many of us will shed tears of joy!!!

While TAS sits in a corner mad at the world because Coach Tomlin and the FO succeeded during free agency...

Dreaming is good for you, you should dream once a day. :D

He's always described as a great teammate as well. Interesting prospect.

With us looking at 1-2 games right off the start without Bell and him coming off injury I am leaning more and more towards us getting a solid but cheap vet and S Jax could be the perfect fit. I like this years draft class at RB but and not ready to roll with whoever we draft to start the season. Dri hasn't shown anything and to be honest with you his size limits him from being the back we need. Not sure about Harris but I like him more then what I seen in Tate. Depending on price S Jax could be a nice pick up for us.
