Going back to an early comment comparing Cam to Andy Dalton... WHAT?!?!! Dalton is in no way a HOFer. Cam has the numbers, longevity, etc., to make it. If he has another decent year this year, he is a lock. Not a 1st ballot, but he will get in in a few years.

Heyward has consistently been the Steelers best run defender.

Sure....doesn't mean it is great and/or it hasn't gotten worse as he looks for sacks 1st and the run 2nd. Sacks gets the money. Everyone on here is touting his 92 sacks. You don't think he knows that about sacks?

Agreed. If he can hang on for say 6 to 8 more decent seasons just think where he will be stat wise. And who knows. Maybe he will get that dreaded "playoff win" monkey off of his back.

I would say he plays run defense at an elite level and others do as well.

Meh.....we ranked middle of the pack against the run last season and gave up 4.3 yards a carry. Doesn't sound elite to me.
