Call me crazy but...

I will be optimistic and watch each weekend anticipating a win. So far, all but one game could have gone either way.

With their current record and injuries, it's easy to watch with no pressure, if they win great, if not, it really doesn't change my life, or yours for that matter.

What does bother me aren't the fumbles, but the stupid decisions, Samuels pass attempt, Holton attempting a return from the end zone, the scripted start to the games, leaving them playing from behind.

That's what needs to change to turn it around.

You dont put that player, in that situation at that point in the game.

Hell I know that and didn't even stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Like I will say to the bitter end....Get a new coaching staff from top to bottom.

especially deep in your own end, and throwing to the short side of the field. He wasn't a college QB like El, he either runs it or hands it off from the wildcat, that's it. Yes he completed 3 passes last week, blah, blah, blah, those were shovel passes that traveled 2 ft in the air.

Not only that but the rats run the wildcat formation all the time. It isn't something they aren't familiar with.. hell that's about all they ran last year. Thinking you could run their own offense against them is just stupid. No wonder it didn't work.

After watching the paper champs tonight get reamed by the 9ers, and considering my o.p. saying that we were the better team yesterday, I am CONVINCED we are the best team in the North. The division is still within reach.

do you know why they're ranked 29th? I'll give you 165 reasons why.
it wasn't Kenyan Drake's 12 yards
It wasn't David Johnson's 14 yards
It wasn't Damien Williams' 62 yards
It wasn't LeSean McCoy's 54 yards

very good point which is why you cant just look at stats....

We have Chargers and Dolphins both winnable. Then we have the Colts and Rams which I do not see us winning. Then we got browns, bengals, browns, cards....Those are all winnable..Finally Bills, Jets, and Ravens.....Also all winnable....

Dolphins, Bengals, Cards, Jets should be Ws.
Chargers will be tough on the west coast
split with Browns
Bills D is tough, but I think we can win.
L to Colts and Rams

That leaves us at 7-8 heading into Ravens game.

Ravens plays Bengals x2 and Jets which gets them to 6 wins right there. Seattle, Pats, 49ers, and Rams will be tough. Assuming they lose all those they would only need to win 2 against Texans, Bills, Browns, and us. I cant see us getting past 8 wins w/o a lot of luck. It could come down to the Chargers game and sweeping the Browns. A winner take all vs the Ravens for the last game would be pretty intense.

The play calling is horribly inconsistent game to game half to half the OC is way in over his head. I’ve noticed coaches like him and butler who are in over the heads and Tomlin too they makes things really complicated... rip the playbook in half on offense **** can the stupid 2man line on defense and send everybody but the waterboy on blitzes knock some fukn heads together and this team can make the play offs we all know that., will they do that... that’s question

Yep you are crazy. We are a 5 win team this year.

This......the players have the necessary talent and have shown themselves to be on a path to being a good football team. I wish we could say the same for the ownership and the staff. Our only real coach bailed before the season started, think about that for a minute.

Put me in the "guardingly optimistic" camp. Fingers crossed that is.

Ooooof

******* A

Punch in the gut....

No faith smdh. I'm from Baltimore. A Steelers fan since 1995. I have faith in this team. Keep saying it's the ownership & staff lol no faith

OK I'll bite. Maybe you can explain some of the better management decisions this team has made while you shake your damn head. I'm sure you have a list of plays that were called at the most opportune time, some of the obvious challenges that Tomlin has won and some good reasons for AR2 to put up with the contentious chaos that has been pervasive for years.

Lord knows these pages have been full of all the bad examples, so maybe it's time to review the positives.

Oh yeah....and let's not lose track of the elephant in the room.

I'm sorry to be negative but the NFL is in a downward spiral and it seems to be hitting my team the hardest.

Maybe it's just time

or maybe just bad karma

It’s possible to turn this around, but we need to beat Chargers to start or I’ll feel it’s a lost cause
at 1-5.
Well, Shades can’t win on the west coast, so....

Alright your wish is my command.....YOU ARE a "Crazy Butt".................

this will be a home game for the Steelers. we could go into the bye 2-4 get healthy and go on a run.
