Burfect deserves a suspension

No doubt in that replay. Burfect led with his helmet right at Ben's lower leg.

And he made a conscious effort to launch himself at his leg, without question. No one pushed him into that position, as he claimed. He launched himself in an attempt to injure him.

According to Adam Schefter, Burfect will not be fined for the hit on Ben...

Just unbelievable.

P.S... Antonio Brown is getting fined for his altercation with Kirkpatrick.

I can't believe that ****. This guy is constantly doing **** after the whistle, plus he violated the 50yd rule pregame. Are we the only ******* team that gets fined??? I'm ******* bent. **** Burfict, **** the Bengals, put him in a body bag in the playoffs team!!

I'll tell you why it wasn't a fine. Ben moved his plant leg. If he didn't, he'd be on IR...

Miss the old board war days with the gobungles group. We tore them up in photoshop wars so bad they stopped coming around.

black jesus....heh

No, but it would be interesting if the Bengals sent this picture to the NFL showing Eifert getting his concussion:

Mitchell didn't leave his feet and Eifert was going to the ground.. Additionally, I believe Mitchell was flagged for Unsportsmanlike. I don't think it was intentional or even dirty. It looked like he was going in to make a tackle and the runner ended up going to the ground and they collided. Again, a flag was thrown on the play.

The whole "Steelers are bullies" philosophy has influenced the NFL front office again. Just ******* poetic!

Chances he is fined?.. I'll say 99% chance.

I am actually pretty surprised. This is outrageous. If Mitchell gets fined, I think my head might spin all the way around.

Its all just PR nonsense with publicly announced fines... If they fined every steeler for nothing and let the bungles shoot at them from the sidelines, every steeler game would still sell out... But in a good year the bengals fanbase struggles... The league wont risk further damaging thier playoff hopes with a suspension.... Though the good news is that when they overlook this stuff it tends to bite them later... So my money is on him rolling up on a sf or denver QB in the next couple weeks

NO FINE!, I just watched the replay of game and his actions before the game and type play especially first half with no flags, should have been looked into. When Burlick was flagged he touched the official twice and nothing done.

What should be shown was Eli Manning when they called roughing the passer against Miami, the man pushes Eli and holds him up , Eli never touches the ground and here comes the flag. Hit below knees which is a no no when it comes to Brady or older Manning, no call for Ben.

The problem with no repercussions for Burfict is that now other players see that they can get away with the same behavior.

It perpetuates the dirty onfield behavior, but expands it to other teams. Always a good precedent to set.

This is where a strong owner picks up the phone,,,,,,,,,,,

I am still pissed about the lack of discipline for Tony Siragusa advocating violence against Steeler Fans in Baltimore

Was Whitt-lessworth in the league then?

If Deebo would have done the exact same thing as Buttmunch, he would have a huge fine and at least a 2 game suspension. The league is a total joke.

And you watch, if the Steelers DO play against Cinci in the playoffs, Burfict will be extremely dangerous. He'll be 100% out to injure Roethlisberger. He won't try to hide it. He won't make an effort to play cleanly. It will be up to the offensive line to know where he's at every moment of the game, even after the whistle. At this point he's completely off the rails.

And if the O-line does ANYTHING to Burfict, THEY will be the ones penalized.

Ha! Funny story:

I e-mailed the NFL offices saying I was a fan who had planned on attending the game was seriously concerned for my own safety. (Total bullshit, I wasn't going to the game) I got an e-mail back from a league exec apologizing and assuring me that Siragusa was only jesting. Can't remember the guys name (I want to say Brian something) but he was or maybe still is one of the top execs. Anyway, I took great pleasure knowing I caused a small fire drill in the league office that day.

Like I said earlier, OUR owner needs to say WTF to the "rog". Maybe he has and we don't get that privy of knowing, but there is a LOT that goes on behind closed doors, lets HOPE this is one of them. Fluck the bungles, including the aj green punter.

I hate teams that are crybabies, but it's even worse to say nothing at all. Tomlin rarely argues with refs and Rooney rarely argues with the league. This leads to them feeling more comfortable penalizing the steelers than some other teams.

Chew a ref's ear off on a bad call and you will likely get a makeup call later. It's just human nature. Rooney calls the league and reminds them how he carried their water on numerous Goodell debacles and Burfict is suspended.

I don't want Tomlin crying like a Harbaugh, but you can't always play it cool either.

If we play the Bungles in the playoffs, Burfect wont make it past the 1st quarter. Someone will, rightfully so, take him out.

Tomlin gave the ref an EAR FULL right after the aj green punt. Some here thin k he is all quiet and shy, thats the camera thing. He says way more than given credit for or camera time for. He has his weeknesses, but lets not manufacture he is a baby stepped on coach, which is NOT always the case. I'm only using the aj green punt as one example as there were several others in the cinci game also.
