Bryant- really?

I see the maturity level on the board has improved since last year.

"The people in the draft room called it right" after one preseason game? **** off, lmao.

Looks like par5 has returned

Over/under to when this guy gets banned. We've had some tools on the board before, but this guy is reaching previously unseen levels.

3 weeks,,, 1 week vacation if coolie ever sees this... and then 2 weeks later the ban hammer will fall because the dumbass wont be able to keep his yap shut.

'Don't start nuthin....wont be nuthin......'

I see the pattern with Franco....it is plain as day.

1) He will post some acerbic content about the team or coaching staff.

2) The usual suspects will become enraged.

3) Instead of responding like....... say....448 did (in the game thread).....who questioned the content and how he arrived at his conclusion.......The Usual Suspects will attack him personally.

4) Franco sees this as an opportunity to attack them personally, something he appears to relish because he will certainly amp it up.

5) The Usual Suspects clamor for the ban hammer to be brought down on a poster who will resurface with a different IP address.

"Don't start nuthin .....Wont be nuthin".... appears to be Francos Modus Operandi.

If you disagree with his post, say so, or ignore, based on the content of said post; attack him personally and you should be prepared to face the wrath.

Your right Dave. Absolutelty right. I did rattle the cage.

Time will tell and I hope it proves them right!!! We need as many successfull draft picks as we can get :)

Stewart, may not have been the best QB, but lazy he was NOT. He had a lot of heart and athleticism, just didn't click fast enough for QB.

As Holmes had a tude and injuries that were more appropriate labels.

So, I've never done this, but I'm going to need to for this one, combining stupid with this much sopping **** is more than I want to deal with. Can someone let me know where the **** the ignore is? :)

Franco was here last year. During one of the diatribes (and it takes two to tango) he told a mod that "I was not the one who started it, I was personally attacked first", so I looked and he was right, and he is still here, and that is the key to solving the puzzle.

Click on his name. It will open up his profile page. Underneath his name it will say add to ignore list. I'm familiar with it. Already used it for him.

Bryant is just raw, as predicted... it wasn't all that long ago that rookie wideouts had as little chance of seeing significant playing time as rookie QBs because they really have to get used to the fact that they cant coast on athletic ability due to the better quality of defenders all over the field in the NFL. From the little we saw last night, Bryant is a ton like Plaxico was in his first season... not watching the ball, trying to force plays in dumb ways... don't let that mask that there is significant talent there... its up to the staff to get that out of him.

Ahhh, that's better. Thanks.

Bryant needs to stand up and show something, last night he was a big bust,

Last night he showed exactly what he was, a big target with potential that still needs a lot of work. Go look at any pre draft analysis of the guy and every single one of them states he is raw. But guys that are 6'4" and can run like he can don't grow on trees. He was drafted because he has potential, not because he is a finished player. If he were, he would have been drafted in the first round and not the fourth.

but hey, let me just jump in on this... WE'RE DOOMED!!

If , after watching the gif. of Archer's run you thought he was fast, you should see this guy labeled "boom or Bust". Fastes ever around here....

I agree he is exactly as advertised. He has enormous potential. The sky is the limit on him. Let's hope he continues to improve.

Hopefully, he is just a bit raw and will stick this year. If he hits the PS, he won't last. We also don't want him to turn out like old Limas "I can't catch the damn ball" Sweed.

Wasn't Bryant catching the ball well in practice? It is likely the kid had a bad case of nerves with everything going on around him. He will likely develop but slowly. Figure he might be a one trick pony this year. Next year he is likely to have one of the break out seasons if he can stay focused and develop good work habits.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he pulls it together, he just seemed to be going though the motions. At any rate, my main contention was it seemed had we taken this kid in the 3rd, and Archer in the fourth, most in the Archer thread would have been bitching about something else, I just don't quite understand why since it happened this way around, and ESPECIALLY given how raw this kid is, it seems to me he's more likely to not make the cut in the long run.

Just expected a lot more, with how certain some seemed he was the logical choice at the same position the other guy was a massive reach at. Looking at them both on the same field, I'd say at this stage, they had it backwards.

First, let me say this is possibly the stupidest goddamn thread I've ever seen. I know some of us have an attention-whoring quota, as well as one for Dri Archer threads, but this one is even weak by our standards.

Bryant is unbelievably raw. More raw than Archer. Hell, probably more raw than Fred Gibson was. I have no expectations of his rookie season beyond about 15 catches. I want no part of him on returns, so I don't care about his muffs; I assume that was just a preseason experiment.

The takeaway, though, is that a fumble in preseason doesn't show much correlation to anything. So I guess there is no takeaway.
