Browns trying to trade Haden

better yet, jump on him NOW

Steelers scheduled to land in Charlotte in a few hours. Both @RapSheet and I are told Joe Haden expected to meet them there.

oh **** lol

guessing this almost a done deal at this point.
money has to have already been discussed. no reason for Haden to get on a plane
to meet the brass in a remote location if he wasn't amenable to the $$$.

I think as fans we are too quick to dismiss guys who have one tough year after a history of success. He's 28 years old FFS it's not like he's wheelchair bound any time soon. He had a tough year and some injuries. I'm quite certain the kid can still play

There are a lot of interesting moving parts here:

Steelers are already mentioned as a suitor and a favorite.
He can fly anywhere,
the Steelers are not in Pit,
yet he CHOOSES to fly to Charlotte, where the Steelers are traveling.

Guys, he WANTS to be a Steeler, and I don't think anything would endear him to the fan base as strongly as jumping the sinking brown ship to sail with champions.

hide that guy's keys and wallet. He can't leave

Cross your fingers toes eyes tails, whatever

Joe Haden set to visit with Steelers Wednesday night

The Steelers are reportedly the favorite to land cornerback Joe Haden as a free agent and they’ve landed the first visit with Haden since his release from the Browns.

According to multiple reports (which PFT has confirmed), Haden will visit with the team on Wednesday night. If all goes well, it looks like it will be a short stay on the open market for Haden.

Haden’s play slipped as injuries mounted over the last couple of years, so the Steelers would be betting on a rebound on both fronts if he does wind up joining the team. If that rebound were to occur, Haden would fit with the team’s stated desire to play more man coverage in 2017 than they’ve played in past seasons.

Haden - Mitchell - Davis - Burns
that's a nice secondary

Unfortunately, our history of being in bidding wars in not a good one

Joe Haden is entertaining 1year and multi-year offers. Expected to pick a team w/in 24hrs. PIT, MIA, NO, PHI, KC, SF very much in mix

WE are the only true contender! Tell him!

Yep not getting my hopes up.... but since it would be the ultimate kick in the groin to The Browns and we know existence hates the team.... maybe i should get them up a little

How do you wash away years of playing for a.loser? You go become a Steeler. I like how the team is doing everything they can to win.

It ill be the Steelers offering him a contract he either signs it or that is that kind of situation..........

3 yrs, 27 Mil, we signed him

per Adam Schefter...

Report: Steelers expected to sign Haden to 3-year, $27M deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to sign former Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden to a three-year, $27-million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

More to come.

On NFL radio, I think they've talked about how good a fit Haden is for every team but the Steelers. Also, they think he won't be very good and aren't too high on him. If he was potentially signing with the Pats, you know damn well they would be saying how good he is and how great they're going to be.

That's just the thing. He does stuff we want to be able to do. With Haden here we should be able to man up. This almost just makes to much sense for them not to sign the guy....but how many times in the past have we all thought the exact same thing with another player? I am crossing my fingers on this one though. :)

3yrs $27 mill?

Nice!!
