Browns (Sun) /Bengals(thur) week Pregame thread

Let's retire Flacco for good, 6+ sacks and a couple of ints should do it

Keep him around long enough so we can sweep 2 from them this season.

Is it wrong for me to get my hopes up on these next two games thinking we can take them both? I am thinking they won't be pretty but we could/should come out with wins in both of them.

Rodgers is the X factor. We ride as he rides. Unfortunately though Tomlin's meddling in the D could cancel out the control he has given up on the offensive side of the ball.

Hopefully we stay aggressive on both sides of the ball. My biggest fear is we play our standard D against a rookie qb in the Browns game and just give him the dink and dunk underneath that we are famous for. Play our CBs 10 yards off the LOS on 3rd and 3. Also the old man Flacco starts in the Bengals game and has a career game.

Prove my fears wrong Tomlin!!!!! Please!!!! Prove my fears wrong.... DAMMIT!!!!!!!

We almost certainly will go 0-2 and let everyone back into the division

He did indicate that we will go heavy on the OL to combat the Helmet thrower.

Fully agree, especially with Rodgers comment. His first 2 big division games in the AFC North back to back, short week.
Aaron has done well so far, this is such a big 2 games to install confidence for the season ahead. You know Cleveland is going to go after him nonstop. Our OLine is going to make or break us.
What did Rodgers say? I missed that…

He said “ I just Hope that Avoid_Lloyd doesn’t live in his fears, and watches the game peacefully while in the ZEN”

And then maybe the bungles trade one more time for KFP, allowing him to break the record for trades by one NFL player

Browns are saying Cinci initiated the trade

The only thing that makes sense to me is they got desperate, he already beat Green Bay this year and he beat the steelers last year, so they figured he was a cheap, obtainable qb who'd be ready to play these next two games

I think this will be a low scoring game where we have a hard time stopping the run and will need a defensive touchdown to win.

The Ravens Traded Oweh yesterday

That puts them in range salary cap wise to make a play for Bradley Chubb if Miami decides to blow it up and rebuild.

Yes SIR, and a veteran force for the benched QB to develope a little behind.

Joe Flacco is a good person, he’ll help the other QBs and maintain his role.

I just think Father Time has been knocking a long time and he is here.

He beat us last year with Indy...
Justin Fields. He was the QB last year and threw for over 300 yards and had 2 rushing TDs...

The Colts came out strong but only won by 3 points and, IIRC, we had a defender ejected for a bang bang play that was deemed hit to a defenseless WR.

Bert has to go head to head against Mr. Rodgers this week. I'll take that money all day on #8 black!!!

Man I dont think he will last till the home game in week 11....

I was hoping to talk someone into making a sign that said, "Hey Bert, Ernie Misses you... Time to hang em up"🤣

I’m hoping but expecting 4-2 at best after these two. It’s just hard for me to wrap my head around the unsustainable stats the Steelers are piling up. Based on yardage, the Steelers are 29th in offense, 28th on defense. Based on points, 17th and 20th. The only reasons they are 3-1 is because they’ve won the TO battle 10-3, which is not sustainable, especially when they’re recovering so many fumbles.

When the turnovers didn’t go their way, they got beat down at home.

And this is the so-called “easy” part of the schedule. Gets a lot tougher after the Ohio games.
