It’s no secret that the off-season drama isn’t going away any time soon. At the forefront of this production is All-Pro Wide Receiver, Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh’s beloved Brown has seemed to go off the deep end this offseason after multiple incidents with his teammates, the organization, and of course his social media presence. You can […]

Forget the stupid twitter crap. All that it took for me is the total lack of respect that Brown has shown toward the man who signs his paychecks, Arthur Rooney II. That speaks volumes to me about the character of this man child with extraordinary talents and work ethics that he's nothing more than a pampered individual who thinks he should be treated differently than everyone else and is accountable to no one, not even the owner of the team. It also tells me in no uncertain terms he wants out of here and is sending the message loud and clear by ignoring Art II phone calls.I do not need to waste my team reading nonsense tweets to tell me what I already know what his game is. He's sent that message loud and clear by shutting out his owner.

He doesn’t even realize that no other teams were willing to spend a pick on him before the Steelers drafted him, yet he treats the owner like garbage and has nothing but bad things to say about the organization. He wants everyone to feel sorry for him, “no one believed in me, no one understands me.. blah blah.” He’s a arrogant, self centered, loser ***** that cares about one person and one person only. Himself.

While all of us are disappointed at how this is unraveling, I hope we can all also remember how phenomenal AB has been for our team. I for one will always look back on him positively for his play. We’ve witnessed weekly some of the very best WR play EVER. So sad that it ends this way.

**** AB and his me first attitude.

And this is why players tend to not like fans. In fact, I REALLY hope that he's not traded, just to watch all you turn coats make another 180.

Only a royal ******* dumb *** would support Brown after all of his antics. Take your turn coat and shove it up your ***.

We as fans have NO SAY what so ever in hire / fire / retain / ect.. Some are displeased with the best at their position while others hope the slow misfit makes the team. OPINIONS are just what they are and I doubt seriously that one poster's opinion is going to turn the AB one way or the other. He has made his bed very clearly and it is expected some NOT to agree with the way he is going about his business. Coddled and told you're the best doesn't neccessarily cut it in the real world. Being a man and honoring your work & word is more important than a lot of other things. HUMILITY is another trait held by the best. AB has very little of these and he may be suffering from mental / brain damage so I cut him some slack but that doesn't give him a FREE pass for NOT being a decent person. I hope he seeks help if need and I hope he wakes up soon and realizes he could have done things a little better and maintained his honor. AS is, many here can grip at him as he has left the void with no explaination.

You already lost the fans. No drama.

So, as "turn coats" should fans be loyal to individual players that go around me first ******* everything up, or should they be loyal to the team? His attitude is off-putting, to be kind about it. Personally, I hope he stays, because when fans see the return the Steelers get for him, that is going to upset them worse than his behavior.

Brown is a child no doubt and like children who start to whine they don't stop until they either get want or it reaches a crescendo and ends poorly. I don't think he's capable of apologizing because he's so narcissistic but stranger things have happened. I will never spend time with the man so I don't care about his personality so to say "release his ***" is just silly when all I care about is the ten winning. No less than a first in a trade but even a first is going to be worth less to this team during Ben's window than keeping Brown. Whatever receiver you get it will take time for him to develop. Getting pro bowl production from an early WR pick in the first two years is rare. We hit big with JU JU but the likelihood of that happening again with a pick you get from Brown is more unlikely than likely. I do think Ben is just a dick of a person and Browns inability to take the **** Ben's dishes out makes it a perfect storm. Even if they straighten out Brown this year he's gonna go off again and my guess is that the Rooney's realize this. Maybe if they got him to go to a therapist you could take just enough but again I can't see Brown agreeing to that. It's a shame that Ben & Brown can't allow the simple fact that they are better with each other override their **** but I guess that's the world of pro athletes. HOF talent is rare. HOF talent with a work ethic is even more rare. HOF talent with an insane drive and emotional maturity is almost impossible to find. The killer B's never ever saw their potential. They could have been revered.. ..instead it's a once in a generation situation

I still think the return will be decent we will see, I am more confident in that return, than how Bell plays out. They just might let him walk without compensation.

Somehow it has to Ben's fault!

Some of you hold onto false narratives like a baby to a titty.

It is more likely to be Tommy Tom's mishandling than Ben being a ***.

But please keep pushing nonsense!

Off putting sure, disappointing? Sure. He isn't in trouble with the law, he isn't getting suspended for drugs or alcohol, he isn't beating his woman, or making dogs fight...

There's a difference between being upset and flat out saying **** the guy. Like he's a nobody that hasn't contributed to the team at all. His antics are minor in the grand scheme of things.

He's literally a once in a lifetime talent, as is Ben. I just think it's hilarious how easily and readily some fans have the **** you card locked and loaded.

Just proving my point even easier. I never said I supported his antics or his attitude, but I'm also not going to just disown him and tell him to **** off either. It's a little extreme, but from your comment above, you live in the extreme. Have a wonderful day! Lol

Maybe it's neither. Maybe Brown is just that much of an ***. Guys have ti be willing to be led, and maybe he just isn't anymore, if he ever was. What I find interesting is in the defense of Ben...it's Tomlin's fault! Inadvertently you make a defense for Brown. So maybe it's neither Ben or Tomlin's fault and AB is just off the rails.

I'd like to see them work it out, if even possible...AB is the best right now. The only way I would move him is for a high pick that could possibly land a difference maker on defense, but I think Sarge is right. The return isn't going to be what any of us want.

Yes, Brown has been such a phenom he was able to not only make those spectacular catches but he passed the ball to himself as well!

If it is anyone's fault besides AB it would fall to Tomlin. And the proof is the alarming amount of issues this team has had on both sides of the ball with behavioral issues. So yes if I see a finger pointing Ben's way I damn sure will bring up the ring leaders inept management of these players. And no I don't make a defense for AB he is the number one culprit regardless. Far as a return we will have to see. If it is just a 1 we will have to live with it and hope they can revisit the JuJu/Watt/Conner draft.

Dang straight slash........... A lot of people are NOT holding poor little entitled Antanio accountable. He is 31 years old or close to it, Krymaney, I held my 6 year old more accountable than this dink is being held AND no, I was not a control freak of any kind, my kids are grown / functioning / healthy / responsible / CAREER / adults. Imagine that. Point being AB has brought all this upon himself and yes TOMLIN should have curtailed it from the very beginning but bottom line is Antonio Brown is the holder of his acts thus he is accountable for his acts and blaming someone else is just entitling him to excuse it away. ALL THAT SAID, more than likely he will be traded and hopefully the STEELERS benefit to the highest degree, not just in trade value but also in team unity / stability.

This is all so sad.

AB would NEVER have taken this much heat if he'd just TALKED to the people with whom he is angry.
He'll, he can even air his issues respectfully with a reporter and at least let people understand he HAS a side...
As it is he has encouraged all opposing factions to control the narrative.
It almost seems like a high school group behavior experiment.

Coming from the person calling other fans turncoats for not supporting AB after he quit on his team. Yeah, that's rich right there.
