Brown, Rooney to Meet in Florida

He keeps saying for teams to call him... That is against the rules... He is a moron.

Local radio station, and this is in AZ, said NFL teams need to know just who it is they are drafting, then went on to play a tweet from an incoherent AB.

So ya, he ISa laughing stock nation wide.

Just getting more realistic for yaz................. His agent must be dang neared dropping his aZZ. I'm sure / hoping ART Duece is about ready to, when is the meeting again????? Oh and by dropping I mean ART Duece will be telling him suspension and fines and game checks.

wants to be known as Mr Big Chest ? wtf

Maybe with his next guaranteed contract he will get titties added.

it would fall in line with him acting like a *****.

My thoughts on the meeting.

1 ) Rooney didn't want to keep him, the meeting was mostly a good exit strategy. Teams don't like a hall of fame player bad mouthing them in the media. One day Brown might make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

2 ) Privately the Steelers internal management and coaching staff will be relieved when Brown is traded.

3 ) Some Steelers will hold a grudge. Rooney and Tomlin need to make it clear not to talk about the diva on social media.

4 ) Art Rooney II is really short. Standing next to Brown in the recent black and white photo, he looks 5'6" tall. Regardless of his height, he's not half the man the Art Rooney Sr. was ( the Chief ), or his father Dan was. That much is crystal clear. Art Rooney II is a soft-spoken man who sounds like a politician when speaks and only has the nerve to mention kicking as the reason for the Steelers underachieving. Art Rooney II is 66 years old. Based on how long his father and grandfather lives, Steelers fans are stuck with him for better or worse. I sincerely hope his successor, likely his oldest son if he has one, is a better owner than he is.

Brown will be leaving a team with a Pro Bowl caliber offensive line, a second WR whose catching yards were better than his and a sure HOF QB. Brown will be traded to a team who will offer either a marquee position player, draft picks that benefit the Steelers all out of desperation for a playmaker. Without a QB to put the ball in Browns hands his career will be just another "former Steeler" who will fade into mediocrity; hardly a HOF career. I'm betting Brown will snap out of sheer frustration and do something consistent with his tendency for aberrant behavior.

Bigtwnvin,

Brown has over 11,000 yards receiving, and 74 touchdowns. He has 3-4 more good years left, meaning he'll end his career barring an early injury with close to 15,000 yards and about 100 touchdowns. This is a hall of fame career.

Brown is a 4 time ALL PRO, and 7 time pro bowl player.

I do agree, he won't be as good on another team, and won't have a ring as a starter...ever.

wrong, again, cooch.
if we trade his ***** *** to a team w/o a HOF QB, his numbers will plummet.

Did you read what I said?

After more though Brown might want to go to a bad team the throws the ball a lot, like the Lions.

The ONLY say Mr. Big Chest will have any say in where he goes is determined by how much guaranteed money he is willing to pay back.

Mr. Big Chest is a one in a generation talent. Best receiver I've seen on this team by a long shot and best of his era as far as I'm concerned. Easy First Ballot HOF. But he is an all universe idiot and perhaps the biggest money luvin egomaniac I've seen on this team.

He shoud be praying he doesn't go to a team like Buffalo, where his brand and numbers will suffer. He should be doing everything he can to STFU and let the Steelers get the max value for him and if he's cooperative, to a good situation. The more he Fs them in social media, the potential team could be disasterous for his career. Want to go to Detriot, Washington or AZ, where no one cares about you? Shut up!
