Thing is, they're both mentally ill.

never heard of him till this **** with AB popped up. he sounds like a real treat of a human being.
 
I caught wind of him when he did this broadcast of a flat earth mockumentary (not sure how) a year ago or so, but was reading up on some of the **** he's pulled and he's in AB territory.

For those saying we didn’t win a super bowl with them forget how terrible our defense was and how we needed to score 35 plus to win each game. This defense is a different story.

This in itself is an indictment of Tomlin's inability to coach. For years he basically ignored the defense. Sure, he'd throw a draft pick at some guy who was supposed to be like Ryan Shazier, but in terms of actually looking at the defense and figuring out how to make it better with the personnel he had... Nada.

Then when he KNOWS the offense is going to be utter crap, he goes out and works with Colbert to get JUST ONE GUY. But that one guy is the piece that seemingly brings it all together and suddenly the defense isn't just respectable, it's even good.

Where the **** was that 5 years ago? What, he couldn't take 5 ******* minutes and give some thought to how the defense might be improved along with the high-octane offense?

The improved defense at the expense of a suffering offense (He didn't hire a new receivers coach, he didn't hire a QB coach...) is just another example of how myopic Mike Tomlin is.

NO **** wig, how many first rounders does it take to make a notable defense???????? A-N-D how long???


Will we have to wait for the new improved offense........... If that one player is BEN (which it very well could be), then for how long..???


One thing remains the constant and don't expect that constant to suddenly change and be all world. A ST & OC that should have already been changed and yet the Constant can't even make up their mind on a WR coach.

Even following this debacle is sad. Time to move on.

The Steelers need a focused effort to improve all skill positions on offense.

QB? Where do we start? Ben has matured into a first rate QB BUT with the surgery and his age OUCH!

RB? James Connor has a compelling story but way too many injuries this early in his career. Can Benny Snell make a big jump this year? Let's hope so.

WR? Where do I start? Without Ben almost the entire year it was so hard to know what to do. JuJu needs to get healthy and perform. Is Dionte ready to emerge?

TE? Sorry time to get a quality dependable replacement for Heath Miller.

OL? Getting older and need to look at the Center spot. Pouncey won't last forever.

I have an uneasy feeling about 2020.
