While talent-wise these guys are top echelon, you have to have chemistry and the "want to" to go to war with your brothers. and neither of these guys (especially any longer) have an ounce of it. The teams that are going all of way, they have tremendous chemistry. Then look at a talent-filled roster like the Cleveland Browns, they haven't won **** because they're a disjointed, disorganized mess. That's what AB is, a mess. You don't put that back on your team, c'mon man.

Because we won the superbowl with them before? Because we have superior coaching than say KC ? We would certainly be a good team, but to say we would win the superbowl is hugely optimistic.
 
I don’t really think AB’s attitude was even 1% of why we didn’t win lately... our issues were on D and crazy coaching decisions the past few years... he is a convenient scapegoat because people think bad attitudes are more important than talent... the problem is raw skill isn’t more important than shrewd coaching... AB had plenty of big time plays in big games... perhaps he was an annoyance but he wasn’t THE problem any more than Bryant, Wallace, Sanders, or Holmes were...

Not that you bring that dude back, but plenty of narcissistic players have won titles without a problem...

He lost his mind last year... thats a shame... the Steelers absolutely would have been a better team with him still pulling double and triple teams...

Oh well on to the next guy....
 
What's frustrating is that when the coaches KNEW that the offense was going to be ****, they went and focused on retooling the defense and lo and behold, the defense improved dramatically with just 1 player move.

One can't help but wonder what the team could have done over the last 10 years had the coaches, you know... coached.
 
There seemed like there was some sincerity in the apologies. I was actually surprised he was so kind toward Big Ben. The guy still hates JuJu even though he said he doesn't, he made it very clear. He also doesn't seem ready to take accountability for his actions and still thinks some are out to get him.

I totally disagree. He acted like he was the franchise and was above everyone else. Nobody called him out on it. Well except Miller if the story about him telling AB to shut the **** up is true. AB was allowed to do anything he wanted. Other players saw this. Bell saw this. It created a me-first mentality instead of a team-first mentality. I think that has everything to do with their early exits from the playoffs. The few stories that have leaked out are bad. I can only imagine the stuff that has been kept under wraps.
 
For those saying we didn’t win a super bowl with them forget how terrible our defense was and how we needed to score 35 plus to win each game. This defense is a different story.

I will also add I’m not for bringing AB back especially but with them on the field we are in Super Bowl contention for sure and clear favorites.
 
IF he can get his head together he should play. He's a potential HoFer...but not on our team...ever.
