Brown not pouting on D Will touchdown

The NFL Network report is total bs, but something happened, a Pittsburgh reporter that covers the team said about Brown on the sideline before the NFL Network story broke, and Ben said on his is show.
I know it's a no no to say anything negative towards Brown, but something did happen and this isn't the first time.
Last year Heath Miller basically had to tell him to shut the **** up about not getting the ball enough, after a win even. Then late in 13 or 14, Ben had to tell him to quit bitching about not getting the ball enough, again after a win.

We buried Ocho Cinco on this very board for doing the same thing with Cincy in 2006 after a Cincy win.

That's why I'd take Ward any day over Brown.

dude, it was the game to get to the Super Bowl. I find it hard to believe that any player on our sideline was giddy and happy all game while trailing.
it's a bunch of bullshit and is nothing but people trying to get clicks on websites.

What would be an appropriate fine? Serious question. I've seen a couple say this exact same thing too. You're not going to fine him $500k. That's what the cheaters paid when they got caught cheating, and this wasn't that egregious. I mean, really the only thing would have been to suspend him a game, and considering the enormity of this game, there's absolutely no reason to punish the rest of the team for that. Sean Davis was fined $24k for a head-to-head shot. Was Browns video worse than that? Not to mention that I'm sure there's implications from the NFLPA on how teams go about organizations fining their players.

Well if you're only going to fine him 10k which is like 1% of his salary then don't even talk all tough, like Tomlin did. He certainly didn't make a statement. To answer your question I feel that 250k would be appropriate, which isn't even what he makes in one game.

I would think there should be some kind of set fine for this.He broke a team rule , he broke a league rule .I would think there would have been some already established amount for that kind of thing...Hell I have it in my company you mees up something simple on a job you go back and fix it and I take a set amount for infraction how could it be so difficult for the team/league to have this figure out already

I don't know what happened, all I'm saying is something happened, and there's a history with him with this kind of stuff.

I thought that fines issued by teams for team infractions was capped by the CBA and the NFLPA. This might explain why the fine was so small, that may be the maximum amount he could be fined without having to go thru arbitration...etc. The next question is, even though you would consider it obvious, is there a written rule by the Steelers or the league prohibiting him from taking a video in the locker room?

All of the Pittsubrgh media that interact with Brown, even people on his own radio show all say that he beats to his own drum. Ryan Clark said on a show yesterday that AB doesn't care about anybody but himself and his brand. When people that are close to him repeat the same information, it is hard not to take it as fact.

Honestly, this was my belief about it as well. If Tomlin came in and handed Brown essentially a ciatation for $250k, you know he NFLPA would have gotten involved and made this matter a whole lot worse than it already was.

I thought it was said that he was pouting after Hamilton caught the TD pass. AB was upset he didn't get it.

Brown may be a great receiver but he proved how selfish he can be to many times this year. His ultimate selfish move was his pretty boy face book. He gets no mulligan when he continues to show little concern for the Steelers aND all concern for himself.
