He was just one of a number of later round CB's that never panned out. Hawthorne, Fredericks, Burnett etc Most of them just float around the league as back up CB'sWe drafted Crezdon Butler (#19) in 2010 and signed him to a 3 year deal. Anyone know the specifics for why we waived him the following year?
If we can get for league min., go for it. Signing back Gay sure worked out for us. He would be an upgrade of Blake, at the very least.

Absolutely... McCain still has elite speed. Most would have preferred him over Blake anyway. If McCain were to be signed... Blake is done.

I don't even know why people bring up Keenan Lewis. He wanted to play for the Saints and left I don't know why some people seem to hold resentment to the front office for that. The Steelers offered him a bigger contract than the one he signed to play in New Orleans. What more can you do? He obviously wanted to go back home and did.
That's not how I remember it. Yes, he wanted to go to the Saints buy my memory was that he never even was offered a contract. Not that we offered him more money. That is why I hold resentment
Surprising to see crezdon butler close to William gay in that list

I don't want any part of Blake and his poor footwork. I'd rather use his money elsewhere.
