So I haven't even heard of visit for him yet. Now that Blake is gone I'd be very interested in signing him back if he'd consider it.

thinking he won't want to return...

I think Boykin may sign with Atlanta. A return to Philly may happen too

I did like Boykin but like I said earlier I've heard from a reliable source that he had a hard time learning our scheme. Apparently he has an issue of some sort. But he did figure it out eventually and I thought he played well. With the time investment I say bring him back.

Where's Golson fit in?

**** Boykin Gay Golson

They need to sign someone in FA for depth, if nothing else. They aren't going to sign more than one CB in the draft (at least I doubt they will) so signing Boykin and/or someone else is still needed.

The "issue" Boykin had with learning the playbook was that he wasn't comfortable giving 15 yard cushions to watch the WR blow by or miss a tackle....that's why Tomlin kept Blake in over him. Too bad the continuous starting of Blake over Boykin probably cost a player that had coverage ability and ball skills as well as a draft pick. At least we don't have Blake anymore, the silver lining of addition through subtraction.

Boykin probably off to ATL, but I'd welcome him back if we could get it done.

Hope this is a case of the longer he stays UFA the better our odds are of bringing him back. He has playmaking ability both as a returner if they use those skills and also as a corner. He should be up to speed with the defense and with Blake gone he should get much more PT. Lets see what happens

Let's see, not much left out there. Sterling Moore?

So that'd be Moore, Gay, ****, Boykin. A secondary like that is sure to see lots of balls.

Gay **** Boykin jamming receivers off the line?. Sounds like something Phil Simms masturbates to or a gay porn movie. Probably the same thing.

Boykin can cover. That may be my UGA bias kicking in but he has the talent. I wanted like hell for him to start. But who knows. I'd love to have him back. I think he may be off to ATL though

Yep, Boykin is so good that he was one of the first FA CB signed. No?

The guy is average. You can draft a guy in the 4th that could do as well. Why waste the money?

The only reason Boykin is so popular here is that Tomlin didn't play him, and of course, Tomlin is an idiot.

Blake dined with Titians? Boykin is still out there and Blake signed. Priceless.

I'd like to see him can come back but I can't blame him if he leaves. He was clearly better than the guys ahead of him but didn't play much. This is another failing of our coaching staff and it's pigheaded ways. Essentially what we have done with this guy is play him just enough to give other teams a look, but let him basically take a whole season to get completely healthy and rested so he can get a payday somewhere else. In my opinion it was a waste of time and money for us all the way around.

Boykin was a top 5 slot guy in 2014 by numerous advanced metrics. Maybe he has personality issues, but we clearly shouldn't have acquired him if we weren't going to play him. He wasn't even worth a 5th for how little we used him. Completely a systematic failure on our part. And the fact that he hasn't signed elsewhere does suggest that he has a toxic personality.
