Big Ben Responds to Le’Veon Bell’s Decision

Dupree cleaned out Bells locker taking his Air Jordans. It was funny to watch. TSN showed the clip of Ben talking and reaching out to bell and than it cuts to Bud taking Bells cleats..lol

I think at this point Bells is super bitter. He is good at hiding his emotions. I believe he wanted to play football, but made his own bed, He will be sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing now. Going to a different city having to make new friends and earn their respect. I wonder what he will look like after not playing football for almost 2 years. The team he goes to has to completely change the way they block for bell while he has a coffee and a cigarette in the backfield looking for a hole. He better hope they do as good as a job the Steelers front line did for him.

If Ben texted him asking him to come in and sign, doesn't sound like considered bell a locker room cancer.

Tunch and Wolf said as much on their show inside the lockerroom this week. He's not been a cancer, they didn't see him as such, and neither did the rest of the Steelers. More of a distraction they didn't need, but they did want him there.

Maybe Bell changed his phone number again? Oh wait he already used that excuse when he failed his drug test.

You bet your *** other GMs are paying attention to how he’s acting.

My opinion... he hasn’t shown up because he can’t piss clean and he knows if that happens he will probably not sniff anywhere near the money he wants.

I have been studying up. Then wondering what the Steelers will be willing to go after. They can solidify CB and RB in free agency. And with WR not being that attractive............. draft a WR and a ILBer....

There has to be a team that’s selling. O let’s say the raiders. Lol. Trade for a def playmaker, mid tier that boosts us now.

Oh a tag/trade with Bell? Yeah the raiders, jets. Teams known for making bone headed decisions.

I don't see anyway Oakland picks him up. They are piling up picks for rebuilding. Don't think they would trade them for an RB with a lot of wear and tear and wouldn't want to pay him a huge contract along with Carrs

Ravens radio is all over picking up Bell now. I hope they do. Just like when they really wanted Kordell and got him!

Don’t be surprised if Gruden moves Carr after the year. They have a load of cap space anyway, and could easily set the bar higher than a transition tag the Steelers would consider.

LevBell has absolutely zero class. The man is ignorant and very much out of touch with reality and clearly doesn’t get it.
Will he sign a lucrative contract in 2019? Absolutely he will. There are owners out there that act like kids in a candy store and when he becomes available these idiots will throw cash his way. I’m glad now that he’s gone and I’m officially done talking MeVeon Bell.

Dont be so sure this whole this is over yet. The NFL owners will band together to make Bell the property of the Steelers in 2019 and has to be under the same franchise tag he refused to sign this year. The Steelers are owed a year of ownership of this tool and to let him go as a total free agent upends the total franchise tag apple cart/ I have always detested Bell and his running style and lack of characyer. I want hinm gone like a bad rash but I think this thing still is unresolved.

I was pointing this out because it was started as fact by coach that bell was a locker room cancer.

Bwahahahaha....I saw that last nite, now that's funny.

Pittsburgh Steelers players raid Le'Veon Bell's locker after deadline passes

Le'Veon Bell won't play for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season (or likely ever again) after he missed Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline to report to the team.

While the Steelers had kept Bell's locker saved all season, the missed deadline officially meant it was time to move on. Some players didn't exactly continue the courtesy of keeping Bell's locker the way he left it.

Following Wednesday's practice, Steelers players removed Bell's nameplate and then raided the contents of his locker — personal items, shoes, clothes all being divided amongst the team.

Linebacker Bud Dupree even thanked Bell for the new pair of Jordan Brand cleats.

That just doesn't happen in NFL locker rooms, particularly with the media present. They wanted Bell to get the message, and that was one way to do it.

drugs are bad...mmmmkay

A lot of players smoke. If you pass the test in training camp you're good till next season. If you fail you get to kiss the baby. I would have cut him and Blount a break but maybe they mouthed off or something.

I move to ban all Bell threads in the future

Can I get a second?

Agreed.

30 day ban for anyone who starts a Me’veon Bell, and permanently revoke Cooch’s ability to start new threads of any type.

You'll notice in the video that Dupree whiffs the first time he tries to put on the new shoe. Sorta like his play on the field. :drum:
