Yesterday marked the end of an era after Le’Veon Bell missed the deadline to sign his franchise tag. Bell’s time with the Steelers is over and mostly everyone was able to assume that after he took all affiliation from the Steelers off his social media accounts. But, Ben Roethlisberger made it a point to text […]

The fact he is blowing off his former teammates and assumed friends at the drop of a hat, why would anyone want to sign this guy? He's about as selfish as they come in recent memory.

Bell leaving is a rally cry for the offensive line and Conner, to show the world, we don't need Bell, and we'll do it better without him!

Absolutely spot on. It's galvanized that offense and it's going to continue.

Me'Veon by his actions shows he is clearly not a team player. His next team should consider this, his drug issues and prior injuries when showering him with those bazillions of dollars.

LevBell has absolutely zero class. The man is ignorant and very much out of touch with reality and clearly doesn’t get it.
Will he sign a lucrative contract in 2019? Absolutely he will. There are owners out there that act like kids in a candy store and when he becomes available these idiots will throw cash his way. I’m glad now that he’s gone and I’m officially done talking MeVeon Bell.

Bell is just a piece of trash - always has been and always will be. I certainly do not wish him the best. I hope he never sniffs 1,000 ever again.

So Ben wished him well and he didn't even respond to him? WTF? Something isn't adding up here.

When you lie and shun from teammates your character is in question.

Bell screwed this team from the start by indicating from before the season his intent to play. He held hostage money which could be used to make the team stronger. He lied. “Best season ever”. If his reps had said we will sit out, perhaps we could have moved on and received a compensatory pic next year. That is our best case scenario now anyway at the sacrifice of a a chance to improve using 14 million.

I move to ban all Bell threads in the future

Can I get a second?

Naw, I want to troll him when he does poorly on another team, or gets suspended again, whichever happens first

Bell is whatever at this point. I could have respected him more if he came out during the offseason and stated he wasn't going to sign the franchise tag because he wanted to stay healthy for free agency. By no means would I agree with it, but would respect him for being up front and honest.

We got that money free. Go grab someone!!!!
I have been studying up. Then wondering what the Steelers will be willing to go after. They can solidify CB and RB in free agency. And with WR not being that attractive............. draft a WR and a ILBer....

If Ben texted him asking him to come in and sign, doesn't sound like considered bell a locker room cancer.

Bell burned his bridges with the Steelers. He will not respond to them ever again. I'd also be very surprised if he ever tweeted something positive about Conner ever again. He's done with the Steelers, and fortunately, the Steelers are done with him.

Well he's trash then. I understand maybe being upset with the organization (actually I don't understand that, just sayin'), but not responding to your teammates?
