THREE interceptions and you say he played well (he did eventually) and have the idiotic idea something wasnthe coaches fault? Offense ****** the D time and again in the first half. Inthink 5he graphics for the first 5 or 6 possessions we had the ball a maximum of 2 min. D had to be ******* gassed.

Ben's rating in the first half was 10.1. TEN POINT ONE.

You say the coaches NEVER adjust. When they do, it wasn't soon enough. Could you, possibly, believe fornette is pretty damn good? Jax was 2-0 when he was in earlier in the season. Hyde is no slouch for a backup and yeldon is, probably, better than most teams 3rd string back.

Damn right Ark. Fournette is a beast. I'm surprised he was 100% and he ran every bit of being 100%.

I have no problems with the coaching decisions today. J-ville was playing for their SB and it showed.

Ben and WRs were sloppy early and on the money late.

D is not the D of last year, and I am telling you that is very significant at this stage in the season.

2 decisions i would have done differently:

Would have called TO before the 2 min warning in the 2nd half. Make jax run a play there.

Would have kicked the extra point after the 1st td. Solely based on the O had played like **** for the first 3/4 of the game.

Oh. I wouldn't have called plays to throw interceptions.

Ben owned up to his ****** first half and picks. What is impressive is he didn’t quit. He kept fighting and made great throws. Juju admitted in his interview that Ben had seen something early and wished they listened to him earlier in the game.

What? The first TD was a busted play on the inside. I didn't see much difference at all from inside to outside from the first half to the second. McDonald's TD was middle. Only when time became an issue on that last drive did they start going outside. I'd hardly call that "attacking the ouside CBs on the 4th Qtr scores".

Also Jax turtled the ball in the 4th Qtr. The steelers stacked the line which is what anybody does in that situation. What else were they going to do? Play a dime?

Also the coaches let Ben run the offense on the last drive. That's the best thing they can do. Just get out of the way and let Ben handle it. Yea, he wasn't great today but you aren't winning without him. How many people wanted to pull him for Dobbs? Yea, put Dobbs in and take the L to go with it.

Not so Vader,

Brown faked the defender out by selling a comeback route, then quickly hit the gas deep. Ben saw him. Brown caught it then joked Ramsey to to score. Not a busted play. A set up play. A busted play is when there is no coverage. The coverage here was beaten.

Agreed on the first point. But when two TDs and two extra points ties the game? I still give it a shot. As that is the difference in two to three scores being needed, We don't live in our fears.

You're absolutely right. Those big plays to JuJu came over the middle. They surely didn't come outside and down the left sideline. Nope.
I also don't remember calling for Dobbs. So, that's irrelevant to anything I post.
As for Jax turtling the ball. You still have to stop it; and the D did that wonderfully. And when they did have to pass, the D was all over it for the most part.
Good win and the Defense played a helluva game and a big part in this win.

My point was that it was down the middle of the field. Still the guy that jumped the route never turn to go with Brown afterwards. He thought he had safety help or he was just lost. Either way it was a busted coverage. Look at the film.

Some teams for whatever reason are a matchup problem. The Jags can play man on AB and still are hard to run on. Ben just doesn't check down well. I couldn't tell you how many times Conner came up the middle and had 4-6 yards easy and Ben would continue to look high. Take what is there.

Uh, I never said anything all day about his throwing outside. You're confusing me with some other argument you're having with someone else. But, you missed the first time AB got behind Ramsey wide open and Ben didn't even see him? It happened, he was just as open as he was the time he did see him on the long TD. They showed the replay so it's not some made up ****. Again, if a WR is covered who is responsible for not throwing the ball into coverage?

I don't get why we are squabbling about him playing like *** for a half? He stunk, the defense kept it close, he got right down the stretch and helped us win the game. A win is a win. I don't get why it's taboo to some to talk about what someone sees watching the game? Not every fan is wired to be sunshine and rainbows 24/7.

Nothing wrong with giving him props for the fourth quarter performance AND recognizing that there was/is room for improvement over the first 3 quarters performance. I applaud him for the mental strength and resilience he showed. I also hope that we don't see anything as bad as the early crap again. And I don't believe we will. Games like this build and show character.

As much as I love Ben, and give him lots of credit for sacking up, and getting it done in the end today, the defense completely bailed his *** out this afternoon. There was no reason for the jagoffs to not be up 31-0 by the time AB blew by everyone. Holding Jacksonville to field goals was ******* huge.
