Technically, all sprains are fiber tears.
Yeah, I don't think it's anything we didn't already know. It was already known it was a sprain since Sunday.
Bottom line, he'll play.

On ESPN's app, there was a tweet last night from the NFL (didn't identify a name) saying that Ben is looking good for Sunday but AB is NOT. I still think it is too early. Today should be the first true updates we get from the team. Not that the updates today will mean much either. I think we should have a pretty good feel after Thursdays practice as to whose going to do what.
That report is coming from a reporter named Bob Holtzman, who cites an unnamed source. Look him up, he is based out of Cincinnati. My guess is either his unnamed source is Pacman Jones, or this is wishful thinking. How could you say "it doesn't lol good," when AB hasn't even gone through one test yet. This report came out on Monday evening. A report like this wouldn't have any credibility until at least Thursday.

Just saw on facebook that there is a ligament tear ..

That's pretty much what the Doc in the twitter link I posted was saying. There's no way Schefter could even know about AB's condition for this Sunday when the final concussion testing hasn't even been completed yet.
My cousin told be he read Ben has torn ligaments and is out. Anyone else hear or read this?

According a chat with a reporter from a newspaper we are not allowed to direct quote, AB is going to play and most likely Ben is as well. Usually they err on the pessimistic side, for example for the Browns game they said there was 0% chance Ben dressed for the game.
Well, not necessarily. Even if the "official tests" weren't administered, if he is showing signs, as reported, of blurry vision, dizziness, throwing up, etc. we already know he is not in good shape and not likely to play. As a matter of fact, the fact that he was knocked out cold already tells us he received a severe concussion. My wife had a mild concussion, and she had a bad headache for over a week, and she had none of the symptoms of a more severe concussion, such as loss of consciousness or throwing up. Brown won't be playing if he still has any symptoms by Sunday.
Dr Ben is all about the drama - he's doing all the diagnosing - we've heard it a thousand times
He'll play
He will play, but if he can't go deep, and they will know it, he won't be very productive.
