Bell's injury - ACL spared?

why not Alfred Morris?
Foreskins look to be trying to phase him out.

Has stayed healthy so far and has shown some good power running along with some elusive ability. For the right price I would be cool with that pick up.

is Montee Ball that bad?

I saw on one of the shows that the Raiders might be looking to trade Roy Helu. He's hardly been used after signing with Oakland as a free agent in the offseason.

He can run and catch.

I say give DeAngelo the chance to carry the load, give a shot at Todman to be the backup. If those two guys can give you a decent running game then there's no need for a trade . You bring a vet F.A. to backup but don't waste any more draft picks bringing a player that maybe would be a lost cause given the team's actual record.

I would sign Moreno or Ball. Both are young and have started before.

enough jibber jabber

Where the **** is the official report that Bell is done for the year?

They have to MRI the thing...second opinion it and all that.... if its only a partial tear we may be talking 6 weeks... if its all the way gone, with rehab its at best a week or two into the playoffs, and IR makes the most sense unless you really want a potentially gimpy RB starting rusty as heck in the super bowl or AFC CG if you get there

the only silverlining is that there was no ACL damage and he could come back next year fully healthy without lingering issues

We know no such thing

He could have torn cartilage too, a meniscus injury to go along with with multiple torn ligaments, blood vessel or nerve damage....

Bell is the engine that makes this offense go. Not Ben. Not Brown. Sorry. All one needs to do is look at last years playoff game and how the offense performed yesterday pre and post Bell. You people are in for a rude awakening. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

well I was trying to be positive, thanks for bringing me back to earth

I was afraid that's why they rushed him to the hospital so fast - blood vessel damage cutting off circulation to his leg

Lots of bad things can happen to ruptured knee joints

We were fine without him the first two weeks... it just means a different gameplan.

put Vick at RB
I really did contemplate this in my dreams last night...not gonna happen though...
Bell's an unrestricted free agent in 2017. His next contract is going to be very difficult. When it comes to running backs, their shelf life is rather short. I've seen players come back from 2 knee injuries, and I've seen others just fade away. Bell seems to have an excellent work ethic, so that's a plus. But would you give him NFL RB franchise type of money ( 10+ million ) as a free agent. Man--that's a tough one.

Once again, you see the glass as half-empty. Others see it as half-full...

I would pay Bell in a heartbeat, provided his prognosis is 100% health for next season...

I don't see why they wouldn't bring in a boatload of RB's to try out.

Pierre Thomas is out there, he can catch passes.

Unfortunate that the Bungles keep ******* up his knee. I feel like Bell is on the verge of greatness and these injuries keep setting him back.

Pierre Thomas would def be the guy for me, then cut Archer. Todman can back up Williams and return kicks. Once Thomas is ready he would be the backup rb and third down back.

Can we leave you with the task to "bring in a bus load of 80 year old strippers" and give them access to the Bengals hotel rooms the night before the game???

Is that what I said? Do you need to review Reading Comprehension 101 for Beginners? How well did Ben Tate work out for us last year?

Need help pulling your head out of your ***? Hold your breath I'll call someone for you.

How long did tombert wait last time before bringing in depth? 5 weeks?
