Does this make Lewis a dirty coach?
When Vontaze Burfict tore away from Le'Veon Bell and his limp knee, he wasn't just celebrating the play that tore the Pittsburgh Steelers running back's MCL.
It was a game-long, team-wide effort to injure him, Bell said.
"I don't think it was just him," Bell said of Burfict. "I feel the whole team was out there trying to twist my ankles and doing little dirty stuff in between the piles."
The Bengals aren't alone either as other teams in the AFC North also try to injure players, Bell said. He once thought that people didn't play football that way, he said, but knows better now and will adapt his play to protect himself.
