CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora considers the Steelers a landing spot for Brian Hoyer.

The Texans should trade/cut Hoyer after signing Brock Osweiler. With Ben Roethlisberger missing four games last year, Hoyer could be added as an upgrade over backup Landry Jones. Houston can save $4.9 million from releasing Hoyer.

I hear Denver is looking for a new starter..............

If we could get the Cleveland Hoyer yes, the Texan Hoyer hell no. (wow, never thought I'd say something like that).

I'm actually fine with just Landry Jones this year.

We all know the season falls apart if Ben can't play 12+ games and the playoffs. Jones did okay last year. We can go 2-2 with him.

I'm kind of worried Tomlin throws a minimum contract back at his buddy Vick to stick around another year as the #3. That's kind of my worst nightmare right now.

Never forget:

Meh lets see what happens.. Im not sold on lj at all, but id rather not spend too much on a scrub backup if we dont have too... Id be ok with lj as the backup and a mid to late rounder as the third qb

We're not trading for anyone. We have no draft picks to trade. Hoyer isn't going to be a Steeler unless he is a FA first.

Yes! The guy deserves a better look. Play him more in the slot. Gay on the outside, rock out with your **** out and Boykin in the middle

I'd wager Boykin is good as gone. I think he's in talks with the Falcons. Supposedly has a hurt vagina from not getting on the field with us, and is looking to move on. Too lazy to search for link, but I read that somewhere yesterday. For whatever it's worth.

I'll read up in a few. I figured he'd be mad about not getting playing time. The falcons seem right since Boykin is a GA guy

regarding the ILBs spence is gonna get paid somewhere else, we can't afford that. We should bring back Garvin to be the backup with Vince Williams

Let the celebration begin.

I'm officially back.....

Go Steelers!

Yea, and your stand make a difference? In that time did you do anything that really mattered? Like rescue a dog or donate to an animal shelter? I hope so, or it was just for show.

Dude, you're talking to a guy who, after the Steelers signed Vick, implied that he would rather support the Eagles, who signed Vick DIRECTLY out of prison.

He's all over the place in his "stance."
