Anyone going to hold Ben accountable?

If again you want to blame Ben then it goes back to Tomlin. If Ben was not up to his best, Tomlin being the head coach should see this. Again if Ben is not playing very well Sunday than up to Tomlin to replace him with Jones.

Ben sucks at times, when healthy. I was hoping they would start Landry. If Ben got hurt agin, then where are we....?

I will hold Ben accountable for playing like crap. However, Landry wasnt winning that game. We couldnt block anyone, and I Landry was throwing the rock, there is no way he plays a mistake free game. We needed a guy who could go out there and win that game, Ben was our best chance, which turned out to be not much of one.

Once we adapted and spread out the field and threw the ball we had success...I don;t think it was Ben pulling his head out of his *** as much as it was Tomlin and Haley pulling their head out of their *** and adjusting to what was or wasn't working. Had they done that 7 minutes sooner, we probably pull out an ugly win. I have never seen a staff so stubborn and resistance to adapt to what the other team is doing.

Wait, wait....are you saying Ben was anywhere close to 100%? Did he look like his knee was good enough to play on, to you? Who started Ben? Who didnt pull Ben when it was clear he couldnt hang today?

One point on that. When an elite player states he can go, do you not put him in...especially a QB. Pulling him, I agree that's on the coach. But look what Ben did after he woke up.

I'm done with MT simply because of not being prepared and winning against teams you should. Period. This game to me, has MT fingers on it for that, Haley for a **** ******* game plan, and Ben. Ben played like dog **** for 3 quarters. Was it all him. No. being behind the count, drops, wrong routes...etc. Did Ben show any emotions at his WR or line. Nope. Like I said in game chat it's like he didn't get his coffee until the 4th.

I want complete change at the coaching levels. We have very limited time left with Ben, we need someone that is going to maximize his time left and take advantage of the O weapons. Most importantly ensure the team is prepared to win when they should. This coming from a MT supporter

I'm going to give Ben a pass. It was only 3 weeks ago that we thought we might have lost Big Ben for the rest of the season. Nah I'm going to give him a pass.

Ben didn't play great for the first three quarters. But can we also accept that a huge part of that was running Bell straight into a wall of defenders on every 1st and 2nd down putting the entire offense, and especially Ben, in pretty ****** situations? His bad play can't even all be put on his shoulders given the ridiculous situations in which he was asked to make miracles for the first three quarters

First play of the game was a empty set pass intended looks like for Bell. Then two running plays.

Second drive first play dive to Bell second run play to Bell.
Third Ben threw into double coverage.

Third drive first down empty set James drops a pass. Second play Ben changes the play. Play action to Johnson first down. Next play empty set delay of game. Then empty again pass to james 6 yards 2 & 9. Penalty false start 2 & 14. Shotgun screen pass to Bell. 3 & 4 draw play to Bell.

4th drive first play pass to Brown in the middle of three Ravens pass interference. 1& 10 shotgun pass to Bell. 2 & 9 Run with Bell picked up 3. 3 & 6 shotgun empty pass thrown at Coates feet.

5th drive 1st play run play penalty on Bell Facemask. 1& 25 shotgun empty pass to James. 2 & 18 shotgun empty pass to Rogers almost picked off by Mosley. 3 & 18 shotgun deep ball to Coates.

6th drive after the Sharmarko penalty. 1st play on their own 7 Run play to Bell. Second & 8 Run play to Bell. 3rd and 8 shotgun pass check down to Bell short of the first down.

7th drive 3:31before half 1st play quick screen pass Brown. 2 & 5 shotgun draw play for 3. 3rd & 2 shotgun Ben audible to a pitch penalty false start. 2:00 minute warning 3 & 7 swing pass to Bell incomplete.

Second half

1st drive 1& 10 shotgun run to Williams. 2 & 9 shotgun quick screen to Brown. 3 & 5 shotgun deep pass overthrow Coates for a TD

2nd drive 1 &10 shotgun pass batted ball at line of scrimmage interception.

3rd drive 1 & 10 down 13-0 now under center run to Bell after audible loss of 4. 2 & 14 Run to Bell. 3rd and 12 Shotgun pass into double coverage to Brown

4th drive 1 & 10 pass to Bell almost intercepted by suggs. 2 & 10 pay action no one open scrambled hit James called back for illegal formation. 2 & 15 shotgun quick pass to Rodgers. 3 & 8 shotgun pass to Brown thrown behind him. Blocked punt.

No huddle the rest of the way I guess stopped watching

Yeah our first pass play you state looks like intended for Bell, but of course you don't bother to say that stupid empty set gave no protection and Ben was scrambling pretty much as soon as he received the snap and threw it away, he wasn't trying to throw to bell, he threw it away.
Our second pass play, you fail to mention that we left their best pass rusher unblocked, but I'm sure that had nothing to do with the poor throw.

So to summarize, we have our QB coming off knee surgery and the first play we put him in an empty set (great way to protect him) and the second pass play we leave Suggs totally unblocked, yes that's great game planning.

In the hurry up in the 4th, Ben threw for 188 yards, a td, ran another one in, and between those two Coates dropped a Td right in his hands with about 5 mins left.

Get out of your feelings..I didn't into detail that much on these plays because I was only pointing out the coaches were trying to get Ben comfortable with a easy pass on the first play to Bell on a quick hitting play. James fell down and looks like he didn't get his pick on Bells defender. So Ben had to hold it

Second pass play what is more likely that someone missed their assignment or the COACHES decided to turn suggs loose on a Deep pass down the sidelines??? Second part Ben didn't even see him was looking at Brown the whole Time and threw into double coverage. Again I posted these plays with out great detail to show that the Steelers DID not run run pass on every series until they went no huddle in the 4 quarter

On the Steelers' second third-down situation, somebody committed a glaring mental error that ended up exposing Ben Roethlisberger to an unnecessary hit. On the play, Jesse James went out in the pass pattern and Al Villanueva looked to the inside, the combination of which gave Terrell Suggs a clear path to Roethlisberger. Suggs delivered the hit as Roethlisberger released the ball, and the pass was almost intercepted.

Get out of my feelings? You make a post trying to talk up the coaches that they are trying make Ben comfortable and leave out details that show otherwise, both times there was no one in the backfield to pick up anyone that may get through. I don't have video, but I don't think that pass where suggs hut him was almost picked. No way in hell did the game plan try to get him comfortable. The first 10-15 plays are scripted so if someone missed their assignment on a scripted play then either that dude needs to pay attention or they didn't go over them well enough.

A simple pass too Bell isn't trying to get Ben comfortable? Really. Look at the play. It's a simple pick play 4 or 5 yards down field. Ben is looking at bell the whole time. The problem came in when James fell or tripped and didn't get out into his route which was to pick the LB covering Bell. Its a simple play that we run all the time

Whenever they go empty the play is designed to get out quickly. These are formations Ben likes. It makes the read easier and he can see where any blitzes are coming from.

Suggs came lose because some one Missed their assignment. I know everyone finds it easy to believe our coaches are idiots but I find it hard to believe Haley and our all world Oline coach Munchak would design a play that turn Suggs loose on Ben. Then again never mind Tomlin designed that play.

Bullshit! I would venture to guess that 1/3 of Ben's passes this year have been from an empty set and hardly ever are they designed to get out quick. Keep spinning your tales to make it support your warped logic though!

Until it doesn't work and your qb is running from pressure on the first pass play of the game. Empty set means your line which has been **** lately better hold up which it didn't. I think they should've left bell in the backfield, if no one came free, he could've released. James falling has nothing to do with the call or the coaches, just not a fan of leaving your qb in an empty set coming off knee surgery.

Your not a fan when they go three TE either it's the offense they run. I don't like when they line up in shot gun on 3rd and short but what the hell can I do .

It's designed to come out quick I didn't say it always happens sometimes that play is covered and our QB scrambles til someone comes open or attempts to

A three TE set when your BEST TE is 2nd year back-up Jesse James. Wonder why that formation doesn't work so well? Once again, if an OC and/or HC but a player in a position to fail, why does the player still get the blame for failing?

And they ran those some plays earlier this year. Just a few weeks ago every one was OK with Jesse James to the point where they fine with Green being cut.

No, it's not. But once again you are talking out of your ***. Some of our best deep pass plays have come from Ben throwing out of a no huddle without ever having to scramble until someone gets open.

You are really good and talking in hyperbole...that's about it.

They ran the 3TE sets mostly in games when we had a lead in the second half...Not in the same situation as we ran them against the Ravens.

Here's a simple question, if we line up in our goal line formation on the 50 yard line on 3rd and 18, is that the same as lining up in goal line formation on the half yard line on first and goal?

No huddle and empty are the same thing???? No they are not. Just because we go empty doesn't mean we are no huddle

It is pretty easy...
