AB just asked Raiders to release him (and the Raiders Release him)

Maybe the Raiders were in on it too, sign him with no intention of ever paying him, market him for the season ticket sales and merchandise, how many #84 jerseys sold? No reason for AB or Raiders to act the way they did, maybe Vegas was playing too, yeah, Pats odds to win SB just skyrocketed....

Him getting multiple 100 yard, 2 TD games is his bigger dream IMO (he never cared about winning before, only his ******* stats) -- which is why I say implode, and sooner rather than later.

I hope you're wrong Spike, but the Pats are probably the only ******* team that could go all kaflooey over. AB a model citizen, I just don't see it.

Listening to Michael Vick and Tony Gonzalez salivate over what AB did to the Raiders, refer to it "ushering in a new era where the players are taking control over their own careers" and hailing it as a positive new direction for the league makes me want to ******* puke.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Antonio Brown sought advice from social media consultants to "accelerate" his release from the Raiders.

That would explain some of Brown's more outlandish maneuvers in the past week, including an Instagram story criticizing the Raiders for fining him (which later led to a heated confrontation with GM Mike Mayock) and a YouTube clip leaking a recorded (presumably private) conversation with coach Jon Gruden. Brown's acts of self-sabotage worked exactly as intended, drawing the Raiders' ire and eventually freeing him to align with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in New England. The Patriots offered a first-rounder for Brown earlier this offseason but the Steelers weren't keen to trade him to a conference rival. Turns out, he found his way to Foxboro anyway. The Evil Empire strikes again.

NO that can't be right. I thought the players were going to hurt him on the field for what he did? You mean they aren't going to hit him hard?

As soon as more players start pulling this ****, you can count me out of ever watching the NFL again. Goodell can go **** himself. This whole situation should be stopped to set precedent for others. This is being pulled by Brown with no consequence whatsoever.

I think the steelers should hire some people to investigate this. I do think that this was orchestrated to some degree. I think AB got to Oakland and finally looked at his contract and didn't like it and Rosenhaus talked to NE and knew they would sign AB if he could get himself cut by Oakland.

AB is too dumb not to brag about it if anything at all like that happened and if you could probably get him on video saying so if you give it time.

Same. I all but quit watching the NFL all together 3 or 4 years ago and have been slowly inching my way back ever since. As soon as that **** starts, I'm done, out, buh bye.
