AB just asked Raiders to release him (and the Raiders Release him)

You KNOW TB12 is salivating at the prospect of having him. They will draw up some escape clause in the contract. TB12 who just got a new contract will make some concession. Brown will eyeball that Lombardi prospect. It could really happen.

AB couldn't give 2 ***** about a Lombardi

Arizona would make sense. They need a top WR in that spread but i can't see bringing in AB with a rookie coach.

Bears could be possible after that debacle vs the Pack.

I could see Houston. With that trade they just made it's obvious they are in win now mode.

Miami? It would make sense because they have so little talent and he could actually bring some excitement to an otherwise dead season, but he could actually make them win some games and that may not be what the want this year.

Seattle makes a ton of sense. Pete Carroll has a history of dealing with big personalities.

He will get many offers because if he's not on a roster for week 1, then his contract is not guaranteed the rest of the year. He'd be a week by week player with little downside cap-wise.

I have a feeling he may choose to sit out the year rather than play a season with no guarantees. That may be the best thing for his career. Sit out, let it blow over, then in the offseason, you claim to have learned a lesson and some team gives him guaranteed money.

but could he stand a year without his name in the headlines?

After Martavis and Brown trades Steelers 3 picks are Rudolph/Dionte Johnson/Zack Gentry. Too early to tell if a total fleece job. Does anyone know if they used one of those picks to move up for Bush?

NFL execs say Patriots are favorites to land AB.

even if they didn't use the exact pick to move up...having the extra picks gave them the flexibility to make the move

Anyone else feeling like going over to a Raider's board for a bit of a gloat?

"Now I understand why the Steelers were willing to eat almost 22 million in cap space to dump his ***."

Alright, I was dead wrong. Brown to the Patriots. Didn't even think they would take on someone so selfish.

Wonderful.

Raiders ****** the Steelers on purpose

In all of this mess, the one that got me realizing when this truly happened (as some have mentioned) was when AB signed his first big contract. I read an article today on CBS sports that said even Troy (yes, Troy P.)) wanted to lay AB out for him getting in LeBeau's face. I still think the hit by Burfict really sent him spiraling out of control though. He got too big for himself back then in the 2012 timeframe but after that hit, he seriously seems to have become CRAZY! Too big for yourself and CTE seems to be a bad combination in this case.

Brown got exactly what he wanted from the get go.

Well that sure sucks... although it could be good if he implodes there and screws the locker room

Imagine acting like he did and then getting to go to the top team in the NFL. Unreal. Gave up a TON of money to get there too.

Will lady force feed him the ball like he likes?

ok *******.. you know what to do with that like or karma button.. I don't like it anymore than you do but **** I called it.

Don't worry. Tomlin is a genius for trading him. No way this comes back to bite them.

AB and Belicheat had this planned all along because the Steelers wouldn’t trade him to the Cheats to begin with.

The Patriots need to be investigated for tampering, AB knew that this was and option before he got himself out of Oakland.
