7-0

Cincy has me concerned. Morrow can put points up.

I guess, but even on the late drive where the Steelers got the 4th and 3 stop on the QB draw, the Ravens ran the ball on 9 consecutive plays for over 60 yards. It was hard to watch.

I cannot recall the last time a Steelers defense just got physically abused like that.

they did switch up and started running that option to both sides. The rats did what they do, they ran the ball well and they hope Jackson makes enough plays to win it. The held Jackson in check (mostly) his best play with his legs was called back on a holding call, and his turnovers really decided the game

Our next three opponents suck. 10-0, yeah I see it.

Spillane seems like he could grow into one of those "Heart and Soul of the team" type of players. Undrafted, underappreciated given a chance by the Steelers on the practice squad. When called on to start because of injury to a key starter, he just keeps on "flashing'. Kinda reminds me of someone else's story......

I hope he's the next #58 but lets see what happens after scouts have had time time to game plan. Great game today though kid...I like his motor

Would like to know if, before today, a NFL team has ever lost to a team after outrushing them by more than 200 yards? If I was a Ravens fan, I’d be sick over this loss.

They don't have a QB. Jackson is an atrocious QB, he's a RB.

Not that my .02 is worth .01 but he seems pretty competent as a mobile QB. I'd rank him up there with Reggie Cunningham but he won't be taking home QB of the year awards. That said, if they have a bowl you over running back and offensive line, he would fit the part perfectly, exactly like Coach Cowher hoped #10 would evolve into.

I would not take his skills for granted. He may very well come back to bite us later this year,.

That's fine. We've lost games to Terrel Pryor before too. Jackson will never be a good QB in my eyes, he has his best season last year. Defenses will keep adjusting and his game will diminish, he is nothing new to this league.

I'd agree with that. Mobile QBs burn out much faster than RBs. While RBs turtle, mobile QBs have a tendency to fake a throw at the last second and expose their mid-section. Time after time, that takes a toll.

The Ravens outgained the Steelers nearly 2 to 1, but the Steelers found a way to force TOs, score points and make stops when they needed to.

The real difference in the game was that Ben protected the ball and Jackson did not.

If Alualu and Heyward are out for an extended period, they're in trouble.

Contraire, Biggs played very well. I don't think it will be a game changing drop off in Alualu's replacement but you are right when it comes to Cam's replacement.

Salute the nation

You guys are starting to see why we kept Spilliane over LJ Fort. Congrats for getting our castoff to start for you Ratbirds, we have lots of players better than him!

Reggie Cunningham...lol.

I fully expect another "Next 3 weeks" thread....

Next three weeks look pretty appealing...Dallas, Cincinnati, and Jacksonville. Good chance we're looking at 10-0.

I think it's more of an anomaly, Punx. The Ravens were leading the league in rushing at 164 yards a game coming in. Yes, they ran for 265 against the Steelers, but they rushed it 47 times...that's an average of 5.6, not much more than Baltimore's season-long number of 5.4 YPC.

Jackson presents a pretty unique set of challenges to any defense. I'm not going to worry about how bad the run D looked today -- they did beat the **** out of him from start to finish, and more importantly, they got the win.
