2026 Free Agency Begins Thread

It's hard to get excited about any of these signings knowing that we don't have a quarterback. And the plan is to run back the same plan as last year. They are letting quality young quarterbacks go to other teams so they can trot a 43-year-old QB out there to win 9-10 games.

22 of 30 244 yards and 4TD
16 of 22 216 yards and 1TD

PFF gave the second QB the better score for that game.

What game was this and what were the respective grades? They grade plays contextually, not based on box scores, we already have the 1970s "passer rating" for that.

I remember Bears fans raving about Justin Fields and his perfect passer rating after this game.

Solid signing. Ramsey can move inside to corner and stay there. With two coverage corners you can play him something like they played Minkah deep and have him react forward.

Doesn’t stop the Steelers from drafting a S in 2 or 3.

Now hopefully they will bring in a G and that would round down urgent needs…
Looking closer like Brisker is better charging downhill at SS.

They could keep him there and put Elliot at FS

Then keep Ramsey in the slot & as a hybrid inside corner…

Kyler murray on the vikings this year

Seems like Khan is prepping the roster for another Weidl LOS focused draft. Bring on the big uglies!

I’d Take those 12 picks and use 2 to turn into next year picks and a couple to trade up and walk away with about 8 picks…4 LOS 2 offense/2defense, QB, WR, LB and a BPA with that last flyer pick

This was the first game this past season I believe vs the Jets, the guys on the fan were going crazy because PFF rated Fields better than Rodgers after that game.

Also worth noting is Ramsey has a bonus due today. So if they plan on unloading him one way or another that would happen today more than likely.

If it is quiet on the home front say into the evening then that indicates again more than likely that he is staying put.

I'd draft a safety before double dipping at either line

These signings look alot like the Colbert/Cowher days, sign quality FA's at positions of need or weakness so you don't have to reach for a need in the draft and can look at BPA.
