2022 NHL playoff thread

Colorado and Edmonton are trading blows. Game is back and forth. Rooting for the west this year
 
Edmonton has To show some defense one day. And goaltending. They are getting their ***** kicked.
 
Colorado is taking over 6-3. Edmonton is killing the penalty though
 
Oooh. A lead pass still almost turned into a score. Edmonton isn’t looking too hot right now

I’ll say Colorado and NY. I think Jake Trouba will cheap shot the rags way to the finals.

I do expect both conferences to have a hard fought series. I’m gonna have to be an Avs or Oilers fan for the remainder of the playoffs

Caps' Wilson has ACL surgery, out 6-8 months

Trouba is likely going to see/feel some retribution next year.

I'm pulling for the west as well.

Similar result in the first game of the last Oilers' round.

Better goaltending = win
 
Neither of those teams are beating the East this year. The Bolts and Rags both have superior goaltending.
 
Looks like the refs are doing all they can to give CO the advantage so far.
 
Colorado is up 2 games to 0.
Tampa is beating New York 1-0 right now In the first.
I think Colorado is going to win it all. Their defense showed up last night.
 
New York just tied the game up. This game is getting good.
 
The Rangers aren’t the best team in the tournament, but it would be hard to argue that they aren’t playing the best hockey right now. They have speed, grit, good goaltending and they are getting scoring up and down the lineup. They keep playing like this, they have as good of a chance as anyone to win the Cup.
 
Well the young guns from Edmonton get swept. Colorado was great in this series. Cale Makar. I didn’t realize how great this young defensemen is. Shall be interesting. They say the next game for them could be in 12 days if the other series goes deep.
 
I read where the coach for the Rangers is bitching to the league about his goalie getting roughed up during the last game. @#$& that som *****. The only reason they are playing is because they took out Sid and then took out the best Canes players.

I think if they get past Tampa, they’ll win it all. Colorado is fast and fun, but they really suck defensively. The Rags gotta get past Tampa first though.
