2018 Official NFL Draft Thread

Oklahoma State alum here, I like the pick, he is dangerous going deep, good hands, fights well for the ball. For all his hype this year, he dissapeared some this year, but he will scare teams like Bryant did, but without baggage. I think he is a value late in the 2nd round.

We need an athletic linebacker badly now!

He ran a 4.43 at his pro-day and had a 39" vertical. His body type is a bit chunky, no doubt, but right now he is quite gifted athletically.

Also likes hunting, earned his degree. Seems like a quality guy in terms of character.

Yes because we suck at picking WRs.

Didn't say that. But, it's like they go out of their way to pick the short ones when even Ben has said he'd like to have at least one tall WR ... Where is that guy on the team. Hunter? BWAAHHAAA

He ran a 4.54 and a 4.56 but look at his stats over the last 3 years - a ton of catches, yards and TD's. I know OSU throws a ton but he performs. I'll take it. We need the best ILB remaining in the 3rd and then BPA with our 2nd 3rd round pick. ILB and WR (after trading Bryant) were our top 2 needs followed by S.

I will give the steelers the benefit of the doubt on this one due to their history of picking WRs....

All I can say is he ran by a **** ton of guys deep in college,
although the big 12 pass defense sucks , I'm not a draft nik, but I'd never have thought deep speed is an issue

I'll give our 2nd round grade an A-. I am already liking the pick the more I read about the kid.

Like every draft pick, every year, half of the fans like the pick and the other half hates it because they didn't pick their guy. Nothing changes, but the seasons. What if he turns out to be JuJu 2.0? I'd be OK with that. If he is Lima Sweed 2.0, you have proved to be the smartest ones on the board. Let it play out. . .

Antonio Brown and Ju Ju Smith Schuester were horrible picks. They need to be taller. You guys crack me the **** up sometimes.

90% of the reason I read these draft threads is for the temper tantrums after the wrong guy is taken (one of the guys that person X hasn't been pimping for 9 months). It's just a baaaadddd pick because I didn't want it. I'm going to hold my breath and stomp my feet until I pass out.

Baker is still there. He is an ILB. Too light at 220ish to play OLB like he did at Ohio State. Isn't Jefferson, Jewell and Griffen still there as well? Hopefully, we can get one of these cats.

They had to raise the bar for WR James Washington’s last attempt. He notched a 39” vertical, good enough for top 5 at the NFL combine.

After this attempt Washington’s mom said “Thank you, Jesus!”
