2018 Official NFL Draft Thread

the thing is whichever leaves will do it in slow motion

I know it's the 7th round but why pick a college back up. If the dude couldn't start in college, what makes you think he will even have a chance to make the team? There was still some talent out there and this guy should have gone un-drafted, at best.

Wasnt he behind Payne?

Wasnt he behind Payne?

yep. Dunbar said he had a injury, Payne came along and capitalized.

But he was still rotating in and against Clemson had a sack if I remember the video correctly.

I threw it up in coach's thread, about how the pick was a throwaway.

Ok. So, he was behind a consensus and actual round 1 pick. Or DL coach was his coach in college.....sounds like a throw away to me....

Cooch should send his phone number to Tombert and suggest they contact him prior to making ANY picks next draft.

In Cooch We Trust, right?

Yes, but he was behind others. Only played in 18% of the snaps the last two years. If Payne was on the board, it would be interesting to see what the Steelers would have done.

Payne wasn't on the board. But, that's beside the point. Whenever the Steelers hire a new position coach, they always draft him a new player or two. In this case, they drafted a player Dunbar knew, co-signed on and wanted. In the 7th freaking round. What's there really to complain about besides the fact that they didn't draft a player you liked? Hell, I wanted Chark. They chose Washington. I'll move past that **** and hope Washington has the greatest career any Steelers WR has ever had.
