2016 NFL Draft

Great move by the Redskins. They wanted Doctson. They were probably contacted by Cincy or Minn about a trade up for a WR and they probably wanted Doctson. They then contact Houston who wants Fuller so they make a trade and still get their guy.

This thread leads me to the conclusion that I haven't paid much attention to mock drafts or draft coverage this year. I will be forced to base my judgement based on the temperature of the room apparently since I know nothing about most of the guys you people are wanting badly except Spence since he was ranked high earlier in the process and Jackson since he has been talked about so much here.

Myles Jack may be a Ryan Shazier type pick. Timmons will not be around forever. I dunno...he seems to be the biggest name on the board. That knee injury has hurt him big time.

we can find another ILB in the 4th round or later. Or early next season

Not advocating it, but never thought they'd draft Shazier either. After they did, all they talked about was linebackers able to cover the field in this 'new NFL', how valuable that was for the D.

UCLA's defensive coordinator is former PSU DC Tom Bradley. Bradley's brother is the Steelers team Doctor. Could the steelers have some inside info on Myles Jack?

WR Treadwell finally taken

Could there be a trade down with KC again?

Or I should say a trade up again for KC

Agreed. All I'm saying a guy like Jack may be higher on their board than we think. If Jackson is there, you gotta take him or Billings. Sometimes the pick will be for a few years down the line. I'm not advocating it, but that type of pick wouldn't shock me w the Steelers.

Getting excited

I;m glad Treadwell or Doctson did not go to Cincy. Both of them have ball skills that would be tough to stop with AJ Green on the other side. The Redskins and Texans did the steelers a favor by cutting Cincy out of the WR run.

Gotta have good knees to be able to cover the field. Jack only has one. The idea that he may need microfracture surgery is a deal-breaker.

the bengals should be feeling like they were left with their dick in their hands with all the WRs taken ahead of them
