The elementary point is with Ben we win and don't have a green QB starting. DUH. Get a clue as to what my response meant.

I called 0-2 correctly, but just could not call 0-3 because I know that realistically means the season is over.

Don't get me started on picking Bush... but listen up! He can't fight off blocks and needs a Casey Hampton type to keep him clean.
 
My Sundays WILL NOT REVOLVE around the Steeler game this year.....

Gotta get my priorities straight. Gonna work on some new music & go out with some ladies...

Stellar moves by the front office this offseason. I thought Barron would be ok because I figured he'd be a role player with limited snaps. That hasn't been the case.

I know this will be one of many roll your eyes fire Mike threads but please can we just move on. Many of us have said these days were coming under Mike and they are here. He’s had 6 years or better to build a D.

6 years to build a D
9 number one picks on our D now
We’ve had a top 5 top 10 offense for several years before this one
We’ve lost a few chances at a Super Bowl because of our D
Tomlin is a D coordinator
And tomlin and Butler have wanted full control of this D for years and years
They’ve had full control now for several years and we absolutely suck

Please let’s just thank the Guy And let him go. He’s completely ruined this organization
Mike munch and Big Ben Are the only reasons we’ve been competitive in the past 4 years or so
And Ben is the only reason mike is still in the league

He would make a phenomenal coach for VA Tech And could recruit the hell out of those kids from his old stomping ground. He has the speeches and the lingo to be one hell of a college coach and recruiter as he’s a great bill ****

Let’s fire this guy and move on. Personally I think we are headed for years and years of awful teams unless something is done quickly.

Mason Rudolph is not gonna be the next great one. He’s a good back up and that’s it
Please fire Mike. Pray Ben comes back for 2 or 3 years healthy and maybe at least we can have a few productive seasons while we are adding some new pieces to the team

6 middle linebacker. Barron is not the answer
7 cb cause you can’t hsve enough

People drank the Kookaid that our problems were all locker room chemistry... they were not... every team has me first divas... New england usually loves them... that isn’t why we lose on the field... its plain and simple we don’t develop and train players correctly and don’t outscheme teams... its not drafting, its not a dearth of talent, its just a staff that isn’t a good fit for this nfl and that is one thing that lies directly at the feet of the HC... college players are not pro ready these days... you have to find the guys with the right instincts and quickness and then coach them up...

The alternative is to find nfl prepped players that are less talented and just settle, or have underdeveloped guys that make mistakes...

You called for him to be benched in the game thread. And you wanted to throw in someone with even LESS experience?!?!?! And who the **** brought up Bush? HE'S A ROOKIE!!! Your responses are always the same, "look at me, I'm so smart" even when you're not. You start more worthless threads and if you ever get called out, you go silent. So again, I say... **** OFF already. You're nothing but negativity.
 
Their #1 QB is out, they cannot run the ball, and the defense is allowing around 27 points per game.

Yeah, it's going to be a long season.

The most frustrating aspect of it is that they could go 0-16 and Tomlin will still be back.

Yep. For years we've just been able to show up on Sundays and win because Ben would find a way to get it done. When things would go wrong, there was no adjusting, it would just look like the Steelers never played football before. This team has enough talent to win a lot of games right now, but the coaching isn't good enough. They are trying to win games by winning talent matchups rather than playing smart, fundamental football.
 
Tomlin is post talk the team will be ready next week. One thing for sure two losers Monday Night are playing and one will win. Mr Rooney this team needs a shake up and comes from looking hard at head coach
 
Someone needs to point out to the stupid *** OC the team scores when crosses the goal line not the fukn sideline literally every throw and every run in the first half was at and to the fukn sideline god that suks! He’s as bad as butler they are small time college coach jackasses and it shows. Both the offense and defense are way more complicated than they need to be. You have to be able to line up and hit the mother****ers in front of you in the month if your going to win. That’s WPA football as we have played since the beginning of time. You don’t build your base on Fooling ppl... were just fooling ourselves. As long as these jackasses have control of this team you can start 12 1st rd draft picks and we still ain’t a playoff team.... playoffs!?!? Don’t talk about playoffs!?!?

I'm not sure they are evening looking at matchups. I'd be shocked if they were. To be honest it looks like they put a bunch of plays in a hat and someone just pulls the next one out.

I don't mean literal matchups, more like "we are better than you so we are going to win." It was the whole attitude of winning just by showing up.

I heard that Spencer returned a punt for a Td today, not sure if that is true or not, but we know Switzer has no chance of ever returning one.
